blocked email not being blocked
getting spam / phishing emails from 'Netflix' which is not really Netflix as domain and email address are all made up with numbers and letters. I add them to block and mark them as spam every single time but they keep getting through to my inbox and ask me to check my payment details ie someone's trying to get our financial data. Come on Outlook, I'm sure over the past few months I've blocked and added at least 100 of these to spam (not an exaggeration) - pull your finger out and stop these please.
It appears that Outlook can't get a handle when it comes to Block option from Junk Mail!!!
It is quite obvious that the Block option does not work from the Not Junk!
I keep Blocking emails that appear in my junk folder and continue to receive them even after I unsubscribe.
Can you please with this annoying problem?

It is insane that Raging Bull Casino spam is inflicting this on so many people. There must be a solution...
Ever since your last update, spam is being received on hourly basis.
As soon as spam is blocked from the junk folder, junk email is received instantly.
Existing security features and updates are failing now on a precedent level.
Sorry guys wish could provide more positive feedback, but under review since oct 2019....not progress but regression
Do something. Outlook.
how can something with the below subject line pass through spam filter or even reach destination.Time stop giving into the demands of the advertisers and focus on providing better solution

I have the same problem, blocked emails come back every day even when i marked the mails as spam, what's the problem Outlook????
If you do a little digging, you see that the IP addresses of almost all the spam is coming from some of the same locations. It's interesting to me that in 2020 we still are not sophisticated enough to figure out how to ban someone sitting in the same house with a server blasting billions of emails a week. I'm not one to believe in conspiracies, but as many have said on here Microsoft clearly does not care, does not read feedback, and has done nothing to stop this. Which sadly tells us they are selling our information out (for $$$) and then on the back-end hoping we pay for the "premium" Outlook which supposedly will block the spam for real. Nothing has changed for years, despite their entire customer base screaming at them. Amazing stuff.
I am getting over 30 emails per day from raging bull casino- the more I block the more I get

you don't seem to be able to block emails with this address:
the address is preceded by different cap letters and numbers etc eg; "ZF8uc"
JUST PLACE A TOTAL BLOCK ON THIS ADDRESS/DOMAIN FOR EVERYONE'S SAKE , IT'S DRIVING ME MAD...!!!

Sadly all the 'blocking' means is that it shows up in the junk and not the inbox. Without being allowed to filter junk this is useless. Hope they are making a ton of money selling our address and not blocking that spam
so sick of all the **** emails to my account obviously not being blocked tired of all the ****

Still receiving heaps of offensive spam and scams too despite all my filters and rules (set to auto delete). No improvements. Service provider is quick to inform users about new changes to T&Cs but slow/doesn't respond to feedback from users (growing list below) which suggests lack of corporate responsibility.
Using rules I have tried to stop all junk e-mails with offers.live, casabratas.live, response, live and one other in sender names. It does not stop all of those e-mails to come into my account. What is wrong with the rule function?
I seem to see when perusing the comments that maybe everyone needs to go to Gmail or somewhere else that has solved the problem of being inundated with junk emails. Maybe Outlook needs to review how long a issue can be under review and actually do something about user's concerns. October 15, 2019 really? Combining issues might be nice but the oldest comment is in 2018 and still nothing is being done. Come on what is taking so long?

I agree with the user below. What good does it do if a blocked email keeps coming in? Going to the blocked senders and domains does not work either. I have found that even blocking a email does not work because in so many days the blocked email servers dump these emails back into the system and I start all over again. How about a way to block the domains of junk emails to permanently block them from coming into user's accounts? Even better how about blocking junk emails that are not on the user's safe sender list.

I block every junk mail I never sign up for and they never get blocked. Why is the option there if it doesn't work at all.
