Extend retention duration of junk email
As spam filtering is not 100% efficient and legitimate emails fall into the Junk folder, I'd like to extend the duration of the retention of junk email from 10 days to 90 days (or user-configurable) so that important email does not get scrapped.

E-Mail belongs to ME.
I am a PAYING CUSTOMER.
I never agreed for MS to auto delete my mails.
If Microsoft deletes Mails without my consent, Microsoft is destroying my property!
In any court of law this would be a clear case of Microsoft at fault here!
Please change this behaviout and enable us to switch it off, it cannot be that difficult. -

The Junk email filter should be implemented in reverse fashion than current. Hotmail should allow all the emails in Inbox. If I flag an email as Junk, then it should move such email to Junk only after I confirm.

This is a MUST guys. for us who work in organisations like the NHS, the outlook app is forced on us to use and we very frequently need to look at old clinics lists to see when a patient was seen and how often, even if this is to be pulled from th server. It is because of this, that I think I am going back to my very old BlackBerry10 device.

Just went on an excursion for 6 months with no access to the internet, gave out my email to people for documenting my experiences, making new contacts, and receiving payments just to find out that every email I get is now deleted within 10 days and lost everything without my consent... uh I guess my suggestion is don't do that anymore please and thank you.

Please add a new feature to manually select the auto deletion of junk mail to an individually selectable interval (like every 3, 5 10, and 30, 60, 90 days.
I had big trouble with the Junk Mail File recently! Here in Germany, in the Junk-Mail File header it said "Junk Emails will be deleted AFTER 30 days."
But some important Emails got deleted after 10 days already while I was on a trip. I complained about it in the German Community.
Microsoft Germany wrote then to me, it would have been clear that "Junk Emails will be deleted WITHIN 30 days."So I had to explain Microsoft Germany that there is a HUGE difference between the words AFTER and WITHIN!
Anyhow, my important Emails were lost and could not be restored!
Now since just recently, in the Junk-Mail File header it says "Junk Emails will be deleted after 10 days."
But this cannot be the solution to shorten the deadline to 10 days. Therefore, I root for an individually selectable interval.

Couldn't agree more. I don't check my emails that often and I get legit emails ending up in my junk folder. 10 days is joke. This needs to be extended on made configurable.
