Obvious spam being sent to Inbox
Why is obvious spam not going to Junk or being blocked. 42 emails with the same "From" and "Subject" that arrived within 120 secs to my Inbox. These should have been filtered out and deleted or at the very least sent to Junk. Why weren't they?
Same problem here. I'm getting almost everyday obvious scam emails pretending to be from "Netflix" and "Paypal". I click report as junk, I click report as phishing", I click "block", but nothing works, still getting same scam emails all the time. I'm so tired from this. Obviously Microsoft has very weak security features. Gmail seems much more powerful and better with handling such problems. Microsoft do something or I'm very close to stop using my Microsoft email at all. Right now Google email is obviously much better.

Outlook.com is a total mess. I get several obvious phishing attempt emails sent to my inbox every day. How hard is it to detect that the email is not actually from Paypal or Netflix asking for billing info? Gmail doesn't have this problem.
Since 13.00 UK time today, obvious spam is going straight to inbox. Up until today 99/100 spam goes to junk. It is like the filter is broken?

I get so many phishing emails "from" Netflix and Paypal that go to my inbox, yet valid emails from real people continuously get put in the spam folder. You guys aren't doing your job with this one.
On a daily basis I receive an email from "Ņetflix", which evidently makes it through the spam filter due to the tiny accent under the "Ņ".
If the spammers have figured out that spelling the attention-getting words (Netflix, Netfl!x, PayPa1, etc.) with an accented or replaced letter in it will bypass the phishing filters, it would be nice if Microsoft would just go ahead and add all accented/altered spellings of those hotwords to their detection system. I've reported dozens of emails with the exact same subject headings, but all that reporting doesn't seem to have changed anything about the service enhancements.

I am not sure why Outlook.com spam filters do not work but it is getting really frustrating. For months now I am reviving phishing emails from all sorts or web serveries like netflix, paypal and amazon right in my inbox and perfectly viable news letter are going in the spam. I am not sure why Outlook.com does this but if I am an ordinary user I would be hacked by now. HOW is Outlook.com protecting me by releasing phishing emails in my inbox.... Please correct your filters. Please! Every news letter that I HAVE requested is in the spam and EVERY phishing email that Outlook.com needs to catch is in my inbox. WHAT the f%*@ are these algorithms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happens to me too, I continually get spam emails from "Netflix" and "Paypal" (obviously not actually fromt he real companies), even though I block them and report them for phishing.

That a massive corporation such as Microsoft can't get this right, is really embarrassing. Especially given real Microsoft emails are often thrown in junk, while I get bothered with notifications of laughably bad phishing attempts. After well over a decade using Hotmail/Live/Outlook, I'm seriously considering moving over to a different service altogether. One with actual spam filtering.
I keep getting obvious phishing emails, all worded exactly the same just from different email addresses and I keep reporting them but they still end up in my inbox. Why? It's starting to seem clear that reporting something doesn't actually do anything except remove it from my inbox. And weirdly enough I don't get any emails like that in my Gmail account.
Microsoft is getting mini share of sales generated, even 'Premium' has faults. This is a part of business.

Within the last week, suddenly obvious junk mail which should be easily filtered is going to my inbox.
I continue to get Phishing emails from 'Netflix', ebay, paypal and others. I report them to Microsoft but the only impact is more obvious phishing emails delivered right to by Inbox. Shocking how Msft can have such awesome senior management, but such awful service. Sad that the only way MS will care is when a regulatory body steps in.

Within the last week, my focused inbox went from having a handful of top priority messages to almost every email I receive including advertising emails from stores and spam.

THE WORST EMAIL SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN! 90% of evident phishing lands in my inbox whilst 90% of USEFUL email (and already marked as such!!!!!!!!!) land in the spam folder. Outlook is NUTS. Unfortunately, I must keep it as I have a Microsoft tablet, but whenever I'm done with it, I will destroy that email address and turn to Google.

NOTHING works to eliminate HUNDREDS of junk emails EVERY day. I used the "rules" section for junk . The only consequence was I then received NO EMAILS!!

Same here. Not sure what's going on with Junk filtering, I've noticed an increase in incredibly obvious phishing/spam going to my inbox over the last ~6 months ish. And this is after years of having the same hotmail account and having the spam filtering actually be pretty decent up until this point. Feels like something changed and broke it?
I report it every time, sometimes they're even dupes of things I've reported the previous day, all really obvious spam/phishing ("buy bitcoin" "you've got a tax return, click here to claim" "your account has been blocked just click here to log in" "you've won a prize" - or emails claiming to be from myself, etc, etc, etc). Interestingly a bunch of them are "image" emails - where the body of the spam has been embedded in a large image, so wondering if that's where the filter is falling down.
But all in all really irritating, I'm having to manually junk emails on a nearly daily basis.

Once again a phishing mail about update on mail and failure to do it resulting in deactivation has found its way in my Inbox. Please arrange to filter such phishing mails. I have already reported this.
