Obvious spam being sent to Inbox
Why is obvious spam not going to Junk or being blocked. 42 emails with the same "From" and "Subject" that arrived within 120 secs to my Inbox. These should have been filtered out and deleted or at the very least sent to Junk. Why weren't they?
Additionally - how does adding a ''y'' to the front of my email address get email through the spam folder? 99% of the email that gets through the spam filter uses this technique?
I'm receiving dozens (approaching triple digits) of spam every day. 50% of them get through the spam filter and I have it set at the highest level. At the same time, people in my contact lists are ending up in my spam email, at best, and having their emails kicked back at worst. I can't continue to do business this way. I'm in my spam folder more now than ever, looking for the emails I need. My inbox has become the repository for spam. I think someone has this backwards. It's time to fix it.

If I mark a sender/email as safe then you should SAVE that and not send the same sender to SPAM again. THAT IS NOT A DIFFICULT CONCEPT! Just do it and stop introducing "clever" capabilities....get the basics right!!
There seems to be something wrong with Junk/Spam filtering since 2 weeks. I have received almost 3000+ spam emails to my Inbox and still receiving them every min. Spams are flooding like anything. Please fix this ASAP. I'm an long time user with outlook.com for about 12+ years and never seen these many junk emails flowing to inbox.

Your junk spam and scam filtering is one of the worst on the market. obvious scams pretending being amazon with shady domain being sent to my inbox very often. unacceptable for a company that us considered leader in ts domain...

Please develop a better email screening program. It's a shame that something with an obvious scam email address can get into the Focused or Other email box, but something from my bank gets kicked into the Junk email box.
All your advertising highlights security with push to bypass passwords with 2fa. That is where it stops as not applied to emails applications.
1. Spam emails that are blocked continue to be received
2. The spammers email addresses list proficiently within the suggested contact listing
3. Blocked and spam emails appears within the deleted inbox.
4. Integration and Search enhancements appear to be regressive and counter productive for users but not spammers
Conclude that email security taken backward seat. Spam, blocked emails are treated as normal emails and being siphoned to be passed and sold on.

Lot of the spam I receive from synced accounts has the same subject but the spam is not classified even though I keep moving it to junk
As Rules do not apply on synced accounts I cannot even make a rule to auto-tag it as spam :-(
i have unkown e-mail contacts in my send e-mail list-- does any of the engineers (so called out look expert software guys know how to delet the unkown address's
It should be easy to identify an email sent from "rarieutblog.com" but purporting to be from "protect.netflix.com" as spam.
I estimate that 50% of the phishing emails I receive end up in my inbox and 10-15% legit order emails end up in Junk.
I dutifully mark phishing emails as such and whitelist legit senders so I'm doing my part. Microsoft, please step up your Junk identification game!

I just checked my email. Of the 5 new emails in my inbox, all 5 were spam. Of the 5 new emails that were in my junk folder, 2 of them were useful (and emails that I've used the "not junk" button on countless times). There is something seriously wrong with outlook's junk filtering.

I get so much spam into my inbox folder, phishing, singles in your area, save money now!!!, all with email addresses, subjects, and contents which SCREAM spam. This needs fixing ASAP, it's the reason I switched to Google before, but their services just filter out too much!
