Problems with Blocked Senders list and junk mail Filter Options.
1. The Blocked Senders list puts email from Blocked Senders into my Junk Mail folder, rather than into my Deleted Files folder, due to the differing and changing subdomains that the spammers use.
2. Outlook does not allow wildcard (*) to block all subdomains from each email domain.
3. The filter options to block all subdomains from each domain don't work.
4. How do I block all email with address in the PATTERN of email@example.com? Notice that firstname.lastname@example.org is a PATTERN, not an email address. An example of a particular spammer's address is email@example.com which is in the PATTERN of firstname.lastname@example.org (format).
Please fix the aforementioned problems.
I cannot block email junk now! I click on it like normal but nothing happens. Why?
The block feature in the junk mail is not emptying the junk mailbox after it blocks senders.
I suggest to have another option in the pop-up window when confirming the "report phishing mail". Here, please add block all from sender! Please also mark all mails as READ after marking them as phishing mail in bulk! (steps --> mark multiple mails, click on phishing and confirm pop-up....today all mails that were not opened before are in status UNREAD in trash - they should disappear or at least be marked as READ in my mind)
The blocked senders list should block the sender completely and you should not see it in any folder. That is the purpose of blocked senders. If you want to manage mail by sender build a rule.
