Rules do not work
Cannot run rules after editing. You update the rule then try to run it and nothing happens. Tried using check box while saving a rule, tried to click run button - nothing. Well, in this was rules are useless if you cannot update them through time.
The method that Outlook.live.com requires of users to enter spam rules, in my opinion is poor. When you need to add an address or a domain to the blocked list or safe list you have to jump out of the mail folders press the gear, select another menu item and then select the Junk filter. When you finish entering that entry you have to exit and then go back to the email folders to read the next message. I would like to see Microsoft deploy the same method of creating rules as what GMail uses as it is very user friendly and rules can be created by a right click of he mouse while in the messages folder. You have made setting up rules VERY cumbersome and is not productive.

Hi, your email filter rules do not work. I have created a rule for some specific email addresses several times, but they still keep being sorted into my junk email folder.
filter rules do not work, absolutely zero spam control anymore.
In the past was possible to set up a rule and have it automatically delete anything that contained a keyword in the subject or even the senders address. This was vital for controlling junk mail and spam messages. As this no longer works I am being swamped by junk and spam that I cannot deal with in any way except to log in daily and manually delete them (from junk and then from the delete folder as well). So in effect these broken rules have instead forced me to delete junk TWICE

This has been a problem with Outlook since it replaced Hotmail. Microsoft does not care, switch to Gmail
