I request that bulk import from a vCard file be supported in Outlook. Im trying to move to O365 from iCloud - with nearly 2,000 contacts!!!
Please make it easy to use Microsoft!
Will get back to you! Thanks for the feedback.
Would be great to import my iCloud contacts to Outlook on a bulk method.
I also have a very large contact list and expecting me to import contacts one at a time is very inefficient.
I put together a PowerShell script which converts a CSV to a simplified VCF to be used with the Light Phone II. This could be a starting point for anybody who has a folder full of VCFs to go the opposite direction.
Outlook.com currently only supports CSVs for import and export of contacts. Most, if not all, other contact providers utilize the vCard format. Currently users are required to find another method to convert between CSVs and vCards. This is a major blocker from allowing users to adopt the Outlook.com service and/or synchronize with other services.

I have 2300 icloud contacts... i'd like to move to Microsoft but have to manually move each one - so until I retire and have the time to do that (20 years form now!) I am stuck on I-cloud until bulk upload to Windows/Office becomes a feature.
Please make the option to IMPORT complete vCard files directly into Outlook.com or the Outlook Application. Or, better yet - allow us to login to our iCloud account and selectively choose some or ALL of our contacts to import directly into our Outlook People.
Outlook.com should be able to import & export vCard files alongside CSV. This will help people import their iCloud files etc.
