The amount of annoying pop ups trying to push new "features" feels very untrustworthy. Mail services should not be confused with social interactive sites.

Many junk mailers have their account from OUTLOOK.COM. And freely harassing people. Why don't you freeze their accounts?

Can you please just block all domains like firstname.lastname@example.org ; I cant because it's got that random string between the @ and the .sharedentco.com but I get hundreds of spam emails a week
SPAM / AUTO-BLOCK and AUTO-DELETE based on crowd opinion.
- If a X percentage of Outlook users choose to block a particular email sender, THAT email is automatically deleted from your own Outlook email account without you having to see it.
- Users can set the sensitivity, by choosing how aggressive this 'auto-delete' feature performs. That sensitivity can be chosen based on percentage of Outlook users choosing to block OR a number of Outlook users choosing to block OR a combination of both.
- Also, because spammers constantly change their sending address, the system would also auto-delete based on Subject Lines.

The spam folder is too active, it takes in important messages and deletes them too fast. When I open my spam folder, it says spam will automatically be deleted after 30 days. Unfortunately that's not true and a message that arrived yesterday will read "deleted in 9 days" and a message that arrived a couple days back reads "deleted in 3 days"!!!
Hotmail/outlook does nothing to prevent spam emails
I get two emails a day similar to email@example.com
and they are still getting through your filter system
why do I not get this when using gmail?
When selecting all elements in spam, the Delete button is too close to "Not spam" it's a challenge that requires a closer look, the risk is moving all spam to inbox instead of deleting!!!
