QUIT MARKING EMAIL SPAM AFTER I HAVE SAID THEY ARE NOT SPAM
QUIT PUTTING EMAILS IN SPAM FOLDER AFTER I HAVE SAID THEY ARE NOT SPAM!!!!!
The spam filter is terrible at identifying spam. I get "Contragulations CVS Shopper You Win $100000" emails in my inbox regularly, and personal emails end up getting tossed into Junk even though I've marked them as safe, or have replied to those emails in the past.
I need to manually sort through my junk box every few days because more often than not there will be actual mail in my junk box.
How is "Buy VIAGARA NOW" not considered spam but my phone bill is spam.

I agree with this. How many times do I have to mark "not junk" for it to go to my inbox and NOT the junk mail folder?
EVERY email going into my junk folder is legitimate and not junk. How do I turn off Junk filtering?
This is so annoying, more and more important emails are going into my Spam. I have found important receipts and tickets in the Junk. All my regular job adverts go into spam as well. Please relax the Spam filter!
I have discovered the problem is even worse. Through customer support I came to knowledge there is a filter before your mailbox treats your mail. I noticed on specific sites request for new paswords were not delivered. Customer support told me the mails are probably blocked by the servers. There is no way to unblock this. Even whitelisting doesn't help.

100% agree. Came here to say the same thing. I will move the email manually from junk to inbox, to see it pop back into my junk immediately. I've added to safe senders, added the email address to my address book, marked not junk etc...still goes to junk

I also have email addresses added to both my Safe Mailing Lists and Subscriptions lists which still consistently get moved to my junk folder. If those lists don't ensure that email makes it to my inbox, what do they do? I find email I want in my junk folder every day, which is disconcerting (not to mention a waste of time). Please address.
Fully agree here. Somehow you can set your filters to through things into junk yet you at the same time advertise junk/spam sites at the side of your program. Why not leave it up to your customers to decide who or what is junk as you obviously don't have a clue about it.

This is becoming a VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM and MS needs to fix it. I spend more time reading VALID MAIL in my Junk folder and junking JUNK from my Inbox.

Agree after 26 years with MSN as my primary email I am reluctant to move but when (high credibility established non-spammer) email accounts have their emails routed directly to my spam folder it makes me look incompetent to clients, colleagues and professionals and forces me to constantly check my spam folder for important emails. Have said not junk multiple times and set up rules to always send emails from those senders to inbox, but nothing works. I am disgusted by the stupidity of the algorithm in use at this time. Is there no such thing as a credibility rating for distinguishing between established senders vs. obviously one time use spam sender emails ?
I agree with this. I have several regular emails that consistently go to my junk folder regardless of how many times I say it's not junk. This actually never used to happen, it's just started doing it in about the last 6 months.
I don't seem to be able to add the addresses to my safe senders list either which is not helping at all.
Please fix this. I have been using hotmail as my email since I first started using the internet just under 20 years ago. This is the first time I have ever contemplated using another email provider. It's really making emailing more painful, frustrating and a lot less user friendly.

Yes, same problem. Hotmail has become complete GARBAGE.
Offer letters, sign up notifications and email verification, emails from people at my school, payroll notifications from my company's HR all end up going to spam while outlook can't even detect a fake "Netflix customer service" email account phishing for credit card info. What the **** is going on internally, Microsoft?
This is ridiculous. I use my outlook email for business and TONS of legitimate emails (from safe senders) get filed into spam. However it can't seem to figure out that a fake Amazon email from email@example.com is fake. I was ON the Kahuna team back in the early 2000s. MS fired all of their testers when Satya took over. Pleasing the profit takers is way more important than creating a solid product, I guess. Time to consider GSuite.
im still having these problems obviously NO ONE GIVES A **** AT MS. JUST LIKE GOOGLE!!!!!!!!!
Same problem here. Outlook seems to ignore my Safe Senders list. Today I found about 30 pieces of mail in Junk that should have gone to my Inbox. This was happening five years ago but seemed to clear up briefly after I filled out a feedback form. Now it's worse than ever. And some mail never gets through at all. I only find out if someone tells me they sent something and it simply isn't in Inbox or Junk.
DITTO! Same problem here. Sick and tired of having to keep "add[ing] to safe senders list" more than 3 times at least and STILL getting e-mails from the same exact e-mail address go straight to Junk Mail. Fix this freaking problem!!! ...please.

I have two outlook email accounts. I have all email from the first account forwarded to the second account. (I have a good reason for this.) It is very common for an email to not be marked as junk in the first account, but will then be marked as junk when it arrives in the second email account -- even after I have marked in as not junk in the second account. There is also a lot of email that goes straight to my second account (not via the first account) after I have marked it as not junk. At this point in time over half of what I find in my junk folder is mail from sources that I have previously marked as not junk. This is highly distressing since many of these are from companies that I do business with and they are telling me that my online statement is ready.
Please: When I mark an address as not junk eo not let mail from that address go to my junk folder.

..actually a lot worse than useless, these filters..

Like most people here, Outlook decides to send messages from a group I'm in to the litter box, instead of My Inbox, as I keep signalling. The program should register the origin as Safe AUTOMATICALLY, once we, the users, say it is. Clearly, it does not.
The problem is not recent - I'm only complaining now.
