Too much junk / spam: Junk folder becoming to inundated
20 year user moving to new platform. Flooded my junk box with advertisements now I have to search for any emails that may be of value to me that don't automatically filter to my inbox. It's a shame.
for the past few months tons of junk, ****** content, ect that I don't know where it s coming from. Tired of sorting, and now told that my blocked sender ap is full and so there's s no end to the ****. And most have no unsubscribe or if you do you end up getting more junk in your inbox the next day.... Outlook should remove limits on blocked sender storage and give us more space...

Malicious spam has been coming through in droves for the past couple of weeks. Yes, I can delete it but any emails with .xyz at the end should be automatically blocked.
I am getting hundreds of spam emails per day and reporting them all as phishing. Why am I still getting these???? It's maddening
Totally agree. There has to be a fix to this problem.

Do you even make an attempt to filter junk e-mails from reaching the customers? First I was getting all these 'subscriptions' attached to my account from e-mails that were Support@*******.de and now it seems that from@******.de the culprit. Why is it none of my other e-mail address accounts let junk e-mails into my account, but you just seem to let everything in. Do a better job or steal people from google and yahoo to help you with your e-mail filtering.
sick an tired of all the awful *** orientated emails, keep on blocking this all the time. Enormous amount of these emails, stop this. Even from blocked ones or slightly altered senders.
Ok, the junk mail folder says it will delete in x days. Well when it gets past 1 day, that **** is still in the folder.
Do you guys even care about this email product, because basically the junk mail management totally SUCKS.
Go take lesson from GMAIL..
It seems like you do not even listen to the users out there. Lots of unhappy people.
I have a lot of rules in my email to sort my incoming mail of fliers, articles, deals and more. I enjoy getting deals and info from companies I am loyal too but do not always spend time reading each one, only when I'm looking to shop/go there and end up mass deleting a bunch of them. This never used to be a problem but now they are all ending up in my junk folder instead of their rule assigned folders, very annoying! I do not have this problem with Gmail and have been switching my subscriptions there where they tend to catch only the emails that should be labeled as spam/phishing.
You can't stop spam emails that you don't want to keep reoccurring again. Tech has tried this but the junk and rules don't screen much. Is there any way to "bounce back" emails to spam senders? You know, like when you send an email and it comes back "undeliverable". That would send a message to the spam ID that my email is not good right? Just a thought that Outlook could do to stop all this very quickly and easily and prevent so much frustration
Outlook ii STILL letting too much junk through; I'm not getting all this in Gmail! Come on, Outlook! Stop all the junk getting thru!
WHY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALL THE YEARS I HAVE BEEN WITH YOU ARE YOU ALLOWING JUNK TO FILTER INTO MY INBOX?????????????????????????????\

I have missed a couple of important e-mails because they were filtered into my junk mail folder. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem but recently I have been receiving upwards of a 100 unwanted emails a day from 2 different sites that are filling the junk mail folder. I have tried writing rules to delete them to no avail. I'm thinking I might have to find a new provider.
It seems the junk/spam emails have increased steadily over the past several months. This platform used to be so much better in identifying those emails and not allowing them to come through. I haven't checked my email account in a few days as I've been traveling, and I now have over 400 emails in my junk mail box that I have to now waste my time deleting... I thought it was just me, bit now I see it's happening to many people. This is unfortunate and frustrating. Please figure it out.
The junk filter is so bad and always marks real mails as junk. And when I select "not junk" for this mails, the filter doesn't learn, the next mail of this type is again marked as junk.
For the past year I've read MS's help files, other sites help file, youTube, tested, played, smacked the computer, hours and hours of wasted time to STOP THE BS SPAM. Rule this, rule that, block this or that, and they JUST KEEP COMING. -0- help. Thanks Microsoft, for Nothing. Leave for 5 days - over 530 SPAM messages. Oh, except the one I was waiting for from the health department that got blocked with the other 500+ BS spam e-mails. After 20 years of using the same e-mail, It's Time To Bail. You want to allow the BS SPAM - count me GONE
Easily identifiable phishing email are not being filtered, what give? Election season is coming up.
I was searching to see if someone had the same problem and i found this place, i don't know why but from few months ago i receive CLEARLY PHISING mails about big brands like apple, microsoft itself, google and others with emails CLEARLY randomly generated or hacked, mostly the first case, and big ammount of them go stright to my inbox, i report each and everyone as what they are PHISING and only so that few minutes or hours later i receive the exact same mail but from different randomly generated email adress... just ridiculous....
Oh, and about the good mails that sometimes get stuck in the junk mail even when i have the email adress tagged as "secure" is another level of wtf, daily i have to go through my junk mail searching valuable mails because i never know when i can receive something important just to never see it because i never knew it came...
I too am a long time user. getting hundreds of emails from obvious spammers, phishers EVERY day in my junk box (where I also get legitimate emails. absolutely fed up with this. have tried blocking, but these A-holes keep changing their email addresses.
there has to be a solution!
Better SPAM options, not to lose legitimate emails

Can you please improve the phising/spam/junk detection for Hotmail?
I have been receiving an increased volume of phising/spam mail that's made it to my inbox, and not caught by the filter, with ridiculous sender addresses, poor spelling, suspicious links... only for it to arrive, 3-8 a day, in my inbox.
