Too much junk / spam: Junk folder becoming to inundated
20 year user moving to new platform. Flooded my junk box with advertisements now I have to search for any emails that may be of value to me that don't automatically filter to my inbox. It's a shame.
Ive never had this probkem before, but now im getting 25-30 a day! you block one and they just use another address the next day
settings, mail, junk mail, block a sender or domain.... search domain to make sure it is correct... "add" type it in.... hit return
I too have this problem. Even the ones I blo0ck keep returning. The dexual material is really aggravating.
My junk folder and "subscriptions" are over loading with SPAM. When I try to set up rules they don't work, even when I generate a report.

too many healthgradepro spam email
Also having this issue. It seems as if the more I try to report things as junk or spam, I get 100 more emails and now they're even showing up in my 'focused' file of my inbox. I really dont want to get rid of my Outlook e-mail but Im tired of sifting through '***** ads' to find something from an employer or other business I'm waiting a response for.

It seems there is a consensus about the out of control junk mail situation. I'm also getting ready to go to another provider after 20 years. Sad. Microsoft is probably selling our information to these culprits. So long Hotmail.

Ditto. Same comment as Junk folder becoming inundated. Outlook will not allow me to block certain Junk senders who constantly send ****. One in particular is *@Wooordpress.club. I agree, Outlook support IS worthless. NEVER get these issues with AOL nor Gmail--only Outlook. Pathetic.
I’m having this issue too, it’s beyond a joke now. I’ve been blocking emails and reporting phishing but nothing is making any difference, please fix this.

I have the same problem and outlook support is useless.
From one day to the other my spam folder is suddenly full of junk that used to be filtered out. What has been changed in the filter settings?
Please fix this!
I am having this problem, too. Fix it!!!!!! The irony is that you are asking me to subscribe when I enter this message. I don't want these subscriptions.
completely awful, I am about to head to gmail after using hotmail for around 20 years, they added unsubscribe and if you use it then you get hundreds more spam, they should completely remove it as it is very dangerous for anyone who doesn't know what trouble it will cause them
I. also, have been flooded with spam, particularly since the recent update. Please fix this.
Definitively something happened with the junk filters for Hotmail. None of the rules that I create work and all the junk that should be automatically erased or prevented from reaching my junk mail folder are coming through. Also, a lot of important mail is going to the junk folder and it is very difficult to detect because I have to browse through 300 junk messages a day to find valid messages.
the filter and it makes very difficult to fin
why if I block something, it still shows up
me too I keep getting a bunch of **** from ****@****appspot.com
I want to block this domain completely...
I DO NOT want this **** in my spam folder...
I still have to go through and delete it...
I want it completely blocked or into the deleted or trash folder
NOT my spam folder...
I have shared my opinion on a regular basis on multiple areas of outlook and voted in your game show style communications as well. Now there is an escalation team??? Seriously?!? Way to pass the buck. If you would spend as much time moderating the Junk mail as you do your customer comments maybe we could get rid of some of this junk. For months now all I hear is we can't, No option to stop completely. Or we might have done something that may help in some situations. Or our filtering system can't do that.
I do not expect completely, I know they change their email address often. But again You are not allowing us to block anything as in ZERO from going into our junk mail. Allow Us to filter. Why is it Outlook cannot do this when other companies can? Hotmail would let us permanently Block addresses and domains from going into our JUNK MAIL. And then outlook took over and took that option away! WHY??? It helped some. The technology is there Outlook needs to step up your game. And actually try to do something. ANYTHING is better then nothing!
I suggest a way to BLOCK from Inbox and JUNK permanently, sub-domains and subject buzz words.
As soon as I find the time to reach all my contacts I will switch over to gmail because this is ridiculous!
Bye, I will not be recommending Outlook to anyone.

No other email provider is experiencing a problem of this proportion ... there are only two reasons that this is happening on outlook.com; either the ms/outlook.com so-called team is totally 'incompetent' or they are 'intentionally promoting' these phishing/junk mails so as to increase some form of revenue. There are no other legitimate reasons for this plague/epidemic of 'obvious' phishing/junk emails to be going on for this long, all of which should be auto deleted and not be going into the junk folder. It is also occurring with the paid subscriptions so MS will not only be loosing a lot of email users but many Office subscribers also.
Outlook is the ABSOLUTE WORST email provider for spam / junk. The amount of **** going to my junk mail is UNREAL. 26 in 15 minutes. Over 1000 in one week. WHY??? Y'all need to FIX THIS!!!
. . . Or I'll just drop outlook and move to gmail.
