Hotmail/Outlook- Mail > Subscriptions > I can not delete newsletters I did not subscribe to
Under my settings>mail>subscriptions - there is a ton of newsletters/junk email/spam that I never added and can not delete. I don't know how they got there and how can i remove them.
No matter what I've tried to delete these it doesn't work - spammers latched themselves this way?
We’ve finished the development work and will be rolling out a new version of the subscription manager over the next few weeks!
You may see that your subscriptions are deleted and the subscription manager is reset. We’re doing this so that we can purge all of the incorrect subscriptions from your list.

Why, for God's sake, do you allow addresses to be added to the Subscriptions list without the users' doing so? Our Contacts lists are generated by the users. No spammer gets added automatically! The same should be true of Subscriptions. The old Newsletters tab was filled with addresses added by users, NOT AUTOMATICALLY ADDED SPAMMERS. C'mon, Microsoft, YOU ARE AIDING AND ABETTING THIS! And, probably, making some sort of profit from it. Fix it!
How is it that Microsoft/Hotmail actually allows SPAMMERS to link to and FORCIBLY make us have to deal with these spam emails? Allowing these spammers to physically link to our email addresses and not give us any option to remove it sounds like the spammers are paying Mircosoft to do this.
No you are not working on it. It could have been fixed a long time ago. Are your software people incompetent or just don't care. Put a checkbox by the subscriptions so they can be deleted.
You also should expand the number of blocked emails or give us the ability to delete blocked senders when our list is full.
Now, the subscriptions options has disappeared from setting. Where I was able to block spam subscriptions and take back some control of my email, I am no longer able to do this and it has once again become flooded with spam!
Yes please. Fix it as soon as possible.
Agree with Carl below. Why is this not fixed yet? Do not allow any subscriptions without our permission and make it possible for us to DELETE the ones you already let in. They do not block, they do not unsubscribe! Better yet, get rid of this dangerous feature! Terrible idea and not needed.

I can't delete. Where is the delete bar?
Here it is , October. What happened to "should have an update for you in September!" It's a really simple thing. If the "subscription comes from the Junk folder DON'T add it! Also just allow us to DELETE a subscription without "unsubscribing"
Outlook- Mail > Subscriptions even if I unsubscribe or block senders, the same email addresses keep reappearing. I'm so sick and tired of receiving junk mail from unknown people and companies. Either fix this or im canceling my subscription with microsoft and Im switching all of our email platforms to GMAIL!

Too much Spam being sent to Inbox. Too many "Subscriptions" that cannot be deleted.
Fix these PLEASE!
Why do previous spam filters end up in subscriptions in current hotmail version? I don't understand the logic. They are spams and should be blocked, not subscriptions by any means.
ITS NOW OCTOBER LIARS
spammers are exploiting the weaknesses of the Subscription services. and you are doing nothing about it.
This is a useless and dangerous implemtation of a stupid idea and one should wonder if those who implemented the idea are involved in spamming and junk mail. That is, there is a rat in the kitchen.

******* fix this problem or someone from Microsoft or the admin's butt will be my soccer ball! I now have about 500 subscriptions with my email address and I can't take them off!
Message to the admin, it is not "we should have an update for you in September", it is "we WILL have an update for you in September!"
Is there an outlook subscription removal tool update yet?

WTF? Who thought it would be a good idea to give anybody other than the account owner the ability to create Subscriptions and then oh yeah lets not give the account owner the ability to unsubscribe.
This seems like it should fall under common sense. I will no longer use any Microsoft email client. I believe you are profiting from this "Feature" otherwise it would have been fixed by now.
so ******** too.
