Calendar updates
I don't like what's just changed in Outlook Calendar. I used to enjoy dragging and dropping events from one day to another. Is this gone? Please bring it back. It was very useful, Thanks.

This should work! Please try and let us know if it still does not work.

So I just found the weirdest thing. I usually use Month view. Try this. 1.) Switch to Week View
2.) Try to drag an appointment. It fails.
3.) Then try to switch back to Month view.
4. Once I did that, I could move (drag and drop) them again in Month view, and I got it to work twice, but only if I switched to Week view and tried to move an appointment in that first.Maybe there's some weird bug going on? If you refresh, the ability goes away again...

With the old calendar, you could drag and drop events, relatively easy. I did, however, complain that when you had several events in a day (lets say 6), only the "top" ones were visible and therefore movable. You could show the others in a list, but could not move them, so I frequently had to move the top ones to then move the last one, and put the others back again. It was an annoying waste of time (I have a LOT of events in my calendar, that get moved ALL the time).
However, this was nothing compared to what I have to do now... Open the event to manually change the date.
This was not the update I was hoping for.

When you 'update' or 'improve' a product, WHY would you remove a feature that users have come to rely on? You have taken the 'drag and drop' feature for moving appointments on the calendar. We want it back.

Drag and drop of calendar events between days (on month view) is broken for a week or so. Was working before.

It does not allow me to drag the activities at a different time or another day. I must select the new time and date in the calendar icon.

Restore the previous versions ability to Drag and Drop Events from one date to another. Ive just moved to Outlook Canendar a few months ago for some of its advantages but now the Drap and Drop feature has gone I will go back to using Tahoo Calendar unless you restore the feature.

There appears to be a calendar drag & drop bug for existing events. If an event is added or already existed on the calendar, and the user attempts to drag that event to a new date and drop it, an error occurs and the date change is not saved. The user has to open the event and manually change the date.
This appears to be a bug, and not a feature change.
STR:
1) Create a calendar event & save
2) Attempt to drag & drop the event to a new date
Expected: Event date change is saved and event displays on selected date
Actual: Error occurs "Could not save event" with a 'Try Again' button. -

I am trying to justify to my business why we can retire salesforce.com and use outlook for our task and reminder management combined with the category function. Please reinstate tasks so we can do this online

I can't find an option to revert to the old form of Calendar - this new version has got rid of every thing I found useful about Calendar:
I can no longer set it to email me about events - I used to be able to get email reminders and I could click a link in those emails to take me to calendar so I could change the date,
and I cannot drag and drop events to a new date -

PLEASE can you re-instate the ability to drag and drop an email into a Calendar Task. This feature does not work in the standard Calendar layout OR the Beta Calendar layout. Please bring this feature back! Cannot understand why it has been removed, such a simple and effective thing to be able to do but now can't. Really frustrating guys! Please look into this and re-instate.
