Junk e-mail: block e-mail addresses using wildcards (eg *@*.can
Junk e-mail: why can't you allow the user to block e-mails using a wildcard and only part of the e-mail address? I receive, EVERY DAY, emails from pharmacy<something>.can and I want to block @.can instead of wasting my time to block every single instance, every single day
Thanks for your feedback! Sorry to hear that you are having these problems with blocking senders.
Our junk / spam team is looking into this suggestion, and we should have an update in the next month or two.

Outlook.com Moderator, is there an update?
Outlook.com Moderator, can we have an update?
Can we please have update
I know it sounds weird but this was a suggestion that I saw posted last year for dealing with the **** emails from @*.appspot.com. I tried it and the emails stopped coming into my junk folder but they have started again from new domains on .appspot.com. You need to go into:
View All Outlook Settings
This is where it gets weird. You have to add the offending domain, ie.thcert-3902.appspot.com to your Safe Senders and Domains list.
Save the change, then go into your Rules and add a new rule.
I use the name of the offending address for the rule name, ie. @thcert-3902.appspot.com
select Add a condition. Use "Sender address inclues"
then enter the offending domain name, ie. @thcert-3902.appspot.com
Then Add an Action, select Delete.
Save the rule.
You will need to add a rule for each offending domain on the .appspot.com that is sending you emails. They get deleted without you having to see them in your Junk folder. No need to block each and every address on @*.appspot.com
While you are tere, check your Subscription list, it will be populated with *.appspot.com address that you didn't subscribe to. Click the 3 dots next to the email address and select Block. If you select Unsubscribe it will take you to the offending web page and you will get hit with more emails/subscriptions. I was getting 300-400 emails a day from this domain, now it is down to zero. When a new domain pops up, I shut it down right away.
At this point, it's starting to look like Microsoft actively encourages these spam emails just for the click farming, whether from spam emails in outlook/hotmail, their games and fake news click farming sites, (click to see next image, etc), and/or forcing users to remove hashtags from photos, videos and documents in Onedrive. Stellar work there Microsoft, stellar work.
that's frustrating. why don't you support your users?
Please post an update.

PLEASE! Need this asap!
We need a solution to appspot.com spamming. The wildcard solution seems the right one to me.
I get spammed by emails from what looks to be randomly generated email. Please, we need a solution it's so annoying.
Can we have an update?

This whole email spamming thing is ******* me off seriously, even rules don't get applied.
yeah bring back the wildcards.. i'm getting spammed to death by *@*.appspot.com and its all **** related emails .. getting tired of it!
More lies from Microsoft!
In Novemebr they claimed "Our junk / spam team is looking into this suggestion, and we should have an update in the next month or two."
Here it is the middle of January 2020 and no changes at all!
To block a sender SHOULD mean to prevent that sender from being able to send any more mail at all to that address!
Blocking a sender now merely diverts their mail to the junk folder. It does not block anything it DIVERTS!
Either change the name, or change how it works!
Can we get an update on this request?
