Junk e-mail: block e-mail addresses using wildcards (eg *@*.can
Junk e-mail: why can't you allow the user to block e-mails using a wildcard and only part of the e-mail address? I receive, EVERY DAY, emails from pharmacy<something>.can and I want to block @.can instead of wasting my time to block every single instance, every single day
Thanks for your feedback! Sorry to hear that you are having these problems with blocking senders.
Our junk / spam team is looking into this suggestion, and we should have an update in the next month or two.

I am getting numerous spams that begin with the address "newsletter@" and then a ridiculous name such as "flopgarden" or "pinkinquest" etc. - two words that are meaningless but put together. I know how to block a domain, but why can't we block certain WORDS in a name, such as "newsletter." That would cut down on the spam enormously. By the way, does anyone in power ever read this Feedback? Anyone who can actually address these problems?
YES! YES! YES!!!! The amount of junk I get from this "sender" is beyond ridiculous!!! It's all newsletter@(tworandomlyselectedwords).us
I have received well over 100 emails from this entity over the past week. Please make it stop!!!

You have provided a feature to block junk mails by adding the domain or email address, but you are not blocking any emails which are coming in as firstname.lastname@example.org when I have added ghi.xyz in the block list. I get tons of junk mails right into my inbox (Focused) with email addresses like email@example.com and every time I get these mail, I have to add them (fed.ghi.xyz) to my junk list, which doesn’t make sense when I have added ghi.xyz to the block list. My suggestion is if I add a domain ghi.xyz to the block list then all emails coming with 123.ghi.xyz should be blocked. Hope you get what I'm suggesting.

Won't let me block .icu suffix. Lots of different prefixes - I can't block them all.
Need to be able to block anything from .icu to avoid large levels of spam.
There has to be a better way for these type of emails to be auto-blocked. I was creating rules to block these emails, but the rules do nothing.
It is time consuming to keep manually blocking these emails every day or even every hour.
I have a Gmail account I may get only 5 junk email on a back day. Google is doing something really well with their email system.
We have had Hotmail for years before it became Outlook so we do not want to change to change our email since doctors, family and friends, etc. have been using ours for years.
If anyone from Mocrosoft actually reads these, please do something as well as comment on this issue.

Microsoft could create a method of blocking emails through keywords or through the initial part of the email (before @).
Many Spammers have sent spam with similar e-mail name and different domains (with a string of characters with no name or apparent meaning). Being impossible to make an efficient block through the domain.
I have received several dozen Spam daily and this is very annoying.
Also it happens with frenquencia that some valid e-mails to be classified as Spam.
Examples of Spams that recur several times a day and the way I described above:
Would like to block emails using a wildcard after the domain name: I receive several junk emails (up to 20) every day from "newsletter@" - then it's anything from "baconclean.us", "cheeseshine.us", to "nosechorus.us". I had over 80 in just 3 days... And, unfortunately, I have to weed through them as some of my approved senders are now being filtered over the the junk mail folder...

I am getting so much spam on Hotmail it is becoming unusable. And the block domain doesn't work - I have techstargroup.com blocked, but all the @***.techstargroup.com emails continue to get through, where *** keeps changing. I don't want any emails from that domain.
Filter out emails from newsletter@*.us - there has been in influx of spam coming from this format of email address. All go to junk mail, but I'd like to see them go straight to Trash. Cannot use * currently in Rules.

Need to block emails using wildcard character at the beginning of a domain name. Need a way to block spam emails coming from an domain where the first 4 characters are constantly changing, but always ends with cheshirecontractors.com.au. For example gavxcheshirecontractors.com.au, kbzfcheshirecontractors.com.au, lddjcheshirecontractors.com.au, and many others.
More spam now avoids your detection and our blocking by variation in domain name. example:
Hundreds of emails ending in "shirecontractors.com.au" but prepended with random letters. If your BLOCK DOMAIN just allowed a wildcard template like
or even *.au
we'd have far more control of where we accept mail from.
1. Default blocking is at the email address level not the domain level, make it easier to block domains (easier than the 5-10 additional clicks currently necessary to block a domain).
2. Wildcard blocking or default subdomain blocking. Spammers are easily able to avoid root domain blocking by sending from a dynamically generated email and dynamic subdomain. We have no ability to prevent this.
3. Auto archive/delete what is clearly junk mail. E.g. I've never had a legitimate email for male enhancement or weight loss product. Eliminating 70-80% of my junk mail would be relatively simple.
Agree! I also get tons of scams, ***** garbage I DO NOT WANT, and phishing e-mails in my JUNK FOLDER with MY E-MAIL address as the sender, which changes my profile photo as well, these offensive E-Mails could be BLOCKED if I could BLOCK MY OWN E-MAIL ADDRESS from within the same E-Mail account.
Don't know how many times I've told Microsoft to implement this, it used to work in the older E-Mail accounts before they made all these blasted so-called "improvements" that have taken a lot of good options away from the end user. They need to be put the DELETE AND DO NOT DOWNLOAD FROM SERVER , as well as the ability to BLOCK YOUR OWN E_MAIL INSIDE THE SAME ACCOUNT where all this garbage spews into, they really do need to put these back in place!
Please introduce the option to have a preceding wildcard character "*" infront of a 'phishing' domain name...... All malicious emails tend to come from the same group of domains, but they cleverly change the first part of the domain name; so first they send you an email from firstname.lastname@example.org and then from email@example.com... and i have to persist in adding all of those to my blocked list, whereas *.phisher.com would do the trick once..
Can I block e-mails using wildcards? want to block all senders with an address ending in .icu.

When blocking junk email, have the ability to block by domain name. Most spammers just change the front part of address so blocking the WHOLE address is not useful. I know the feature is there to do manually, but.............??
