edititing/ modifying recurring events
I made this comment but someone marked it as COMPLETED. It is NOT completed. What I have requested is not done. When I modify/ delete an even in the series - the option to MODIFY/ DELETE just this event and following event is not coming - there is only option to modify/ delete CURRENT EVENT or ENTIRE SERIES - there should be a third option to modify/ delete CURRENT AND FUTURE EVENTS without modifying/ deleting the past events. So here is my comment again:
When modifying/ deleting repeat events there should be an option to modify/ delete/ apply change to only THIS and/or ALL upcoming events with the previous events (earlier than the one being modified) not being changed.
This option is in Gmail but not in Outlook.com or OWA or on Outlook 2016.
inability to edit recurring calendar event added via an ics import. Please add the ability to edit.
Calendar event won't delete
Recurring tasks. Outlook does not work with our recurring tasks. I need to be able to change the owner and have the task remain the same. Right now we have to copy and paste the task from the original owner to a new owner and the new owner needs to set the recurring. When associates leave employment this creates a HUGE workload for the associate taking those tasks. the loss in productivity is beyond words. I work for Raymond James. Fixing this would save so much work
Most people use their calendars to review past events at some point. If there is a question about a recurring appointment that relates to billing, for example. If that recurring appointment stops or gets changed, this data is lost in Outlook calendar. We should be able to have an option to change the recurring appointment only going forward, and keep the past appointments on the calendar.

This has been one of my MAJOR beefs with Outlook for a long time. The fact that it has NO respect for changes or notes that are IMPORTANT to me in events that were part of a recurring series is frankly arrogant. It makes recurring very difficult. I have to set recurrence up for a short period of time so I know I won't have to modify the recurrence portion in any way then remember to do a new recurring every time it expires. It's really ridiculous and shows no respect.

Agreed, I this is the only thing that I like that is in google calendar that is NOT in outlook.com nor the UWP mail app/desktop outlook 2016 application
when to edit a series how to extend the end date?
until i can edit/delete a single occurrence of a series, as well as have an "agenda" view, google calendar will be to go to calendar app.
Cannot edit a recurring calendar item. Keep getting "Something went wrong". Had this happen before, thought it was fixed. No problem editing non recurring items.

Urgent please. People don't see this idea and don't vote doesn't mean this is not important and critical. ;)
