often when deleting junk messages i will click near instead of on the circle checkbox and the mail opens instead thisisirritating as i must restart the selection process increasing the chance of a repeat

I agree! I am always accidentally opening an email because I missed the checkbox by a small margin. This should be fixed, but in the meantime, I found a workaround. If you hold down CTRL while selecting, you will not open the message no matter where you click; it will just toggle the checkbox.

The area left to the checkboxes of each email should not open the mail. It should select the checkbox. This is very annoying.

It's infuriating when you are trying to sort out your emails for the following reasons
You cannot get search results for a single box ie just emails in the in box
and if you need to select a number and then move them it suddenly instead of selecting opens an email and you have to start again.
This version is a backwards step. -

When try to choose each mail to delete it. If didn't press it in right place. it will show the mail instead of it. Not a smart one ..

Marking mail is so sensitive it automatically opens it if you click not directly on it!

The new method of selecting emails is quite dangerous. The bubble to the left of the mailing address to select the email is far too precise of a click to make, and anything outside of it opens the email. This can be very dangerous in the event of getting an obviously malicious email and trying to delete it or report it, and it's just plain frustrating to open an email when selecting more than one when you did not mean to.

If I start checking items to be moved/deleted don't make me have to click one small circle for every item. It makes deleting more than 5 items a chore. Should be able to click the entire email tab to add it to the list.

Agree! The bubble to select messages is too small. Can you make it so that when we are selecting multiple messages from my inbox to delete, and I accidentally miss and open one, it doesn't remove the selection I made when I go back to the inbox?
