CAN NOT DO A SEARCH WITH DATE PARAMETERS
WHEN I TRY TO DO A BC, IF BOUNCES AND ELIMINATES ALL MY TO: AND CC: AND BCC/ ALSO, I CANT FIND A WAY TO SEARCH FOR A DATE RANGE ANYMORE.
Hotmail used to have a feature in which you could open a calendar, choose a certain month and day, and view all emails from this date and earlier. Hotmail no longer has that feature, and in order to look for an email from a certain day, you need to either scroll down until you find it (which is needlessly inefficient) or search by word (which is often useless) instead of by date. Can someone please tell me if there's still a way to search one's emails in Hotmail specifically by which date they were sent?
I want to see emails in a particular folder from 2004. I estimate that I would need to scroll for about 45 minutes to reach that year. This seems like a simple function, and it also seems that Hotmail used to have this function.
Add to my comment below that if you have a contact that has two email addresses and you only want to search for one. It still gives you both in the results, at least when searching that given address by date.
I am only looking to pull up every single email still in my inbox between given dates. When I hit search nothing happens. I do not want to have to enter a keyword because that almost always leads to missing some that are relevant. I just want to be able to pull up every email in a given date range for example 01/01/2012 to 04/31/2012 and actually get what I am looking for. Also to be able to do the same thing by email address. It will not do that currently.

specific dates / Search / Inbox.....I can't do a specific date / dates in the Search function on my Inbox
search by date is not working
As soon as I type in the first date, the screen freezes and says Microsoft has encountered a problem. This is beyond infuriating. I have been unable to do easy, regular searches on my email for months now.
