When opening outlook.live.com the main page loads at a decent speed but then it starts connecting to Skype whether the user wants to or not and this connection takes far, far too long to complete. If I have 4 new emails I can easily open and read all 4 emails before Skype has finished loading. This means that the unread count doesn't update until I click away and back on the emails - but only once the page has completed loading. I used an adblocker to disable Skype integration completely and now outlook.live.com opens a lot faster and the issue with unread counts has gone away.
