Read messages should be marked as read after I open them. Right now, after I open an email in my Inbox, it continues to be shown as unread.

Even if you read unread mail, it is not displayed as read.

Recurrent problems with opening messages 1.frustratingly long wait before content is displayed after double clicking to open message 2. even after being opened and read, messages are still marked as 'Unread' unless I select 'Mark as read' from the message menu. Why? and how to fix?

Compared to Gmail, the outlook mail is very slow . Please mark mails read aysncronously once read instead of waiting for the user to reload the page.

All of the sudden in the past week emails that I have read are still shown as unread. Not sure why this has started happening. Was there a software update that caused this new bug?

Opening an item does not mark it as read which is really unintuitive.

After I read an email, it remains Bold ie indicating that it is unread

When you select emails and say Mark as read, they still remain unread upon returning to your inbox later on.

New bug..errrrr...I mean feature...after reading email, I have to reload the page to get the litle number next to "Inbox" to go away. WTF?

I hate this new format! I read messages and next time I sign in it says I haven't read them as they are still highlighted. It's confusing, and ridiculous.

When you have the unread view on, every time you get into an email detail and then you go back to the main, the unread view disappears, so you need to click again unread to the top right.
Please add a permanent unread panel. -

when we filter email : unread only, and if we open any one email it does not mark as read and if we go back its not showing only unread. again have to select filter unread.. so many issues nowadays..
