junk folder requires me to click on each mail item after deleting
Why does the junk folder require me to click on each mail item after deleting one? In the non-beta version, I used to be able to delete a junk email and the focus would automatically change to the next email in the junk folder. Now, it annoyingly requires me to click on the next email ("Select an item to read") after deleting. Please fix this!
I emailed about this as well a while back and nothing has been done. So annoying and a waste of time!!
Scenario: I am on my Junk-Mail checking if some mail was wrongly classified. Usually I go one by one quite fast, just deleting it. On the previous version of outlook.com, once I deleted a mail, outlook.com automatically have focused the first mail of the list. On the current version I need to set the focus myself, which is extremelly annoying when you have several mails to quick look and delete.
this is a bug as following feature selection is not working this needs to be fixed by Outlook team asap I pointed out this bug 6 months back and they have done nothing absolutely nothing today they took away old UI link which was a workaround - very painful to use the new version
>what do you want to happen when you move or delete the item you are viewing?
Open the next item
Once Junk Item deleted, cursor does not go to item below automatically, have to click. Very annoying and waist time.
In junk folder, when move or delete the item, next item does not open. Have to click on item to make it read. Very annoying. Fix it please.
you used to be able to delete an email in the junk folder and then click delete when the next email displays. This has gone away and now I have to select each email manually then delete. This should be changed back so you aren't clicking so much just to delete items.
Deleting emails one by one in Junk Email is... terrible. The new version doesn't automatically display the next email after deleting which means you can't automatically read the next one.
