new window for composing emails
I am still getting accustomed to the changes.
One feature that has changes from the previous version is being able to create new emails in a new window. I noticed that capability has disappeared. Now, I click New message and the blank message shows up in my reading pane. If I wish to edit it or add content from another email, I have to save as a draft, locate what I want to copy, go to drafts, then open that draft in a new window,
It would be handy to get the capability back to compose new emails in a new window.
Normally when double click a message in an inbox, an email window will pop-up as a separate one. However, since 9th Sep, do such thing will lead to a new pop-up window with "You may close this window." message. The behavior found even changing to another browser - from Edge to Firefox. Especially, after upgraded a Firefox to version 69.0.
- Outlook OWA is used; both Office and Live.
- Browser: Edge and Firefox.

clicking the +New Message does not open a new window. It currently takes a few clicks to get there. I would like a new message to open a new window by default or at least be able to set a switch to have a new message open a new window.
Is it possible to compose new messages in a new window? I can't work out how, and it makes keeping track of what I'm writing difficult. A serious deficiency.
Where is the option to open new messages in a new tab or popup? The new message appears in the preview screen with the current message title in the inbox list highlighted. Very confusing and not user friendly.

Why is the Compose New Message screen SO TINY? It's ridiculous to have to scroll up and down to see what I've written. Why can't I maximise the screen?
Can you open a new msg in a new window so we don't have to try to write it at the bottom or side where is it very scrunched up? One can go to Drafts, but that is another step or two whereas just automatically having a new msg (when you click on New message) open in a new window would be so much easier!! And instead of telling us to give this msg a title, why not put Title in th ebox instead of tell us what you think? I never realized that was for a title because it doesn't say so. You can put "Tell us what you think" above the Title box...
Cannot compose/reply to emails in new window
If a user has the preview window option enabled (so that they can read emails that are in their inbox), if the user attempts to either reply to that email or compose a new email, they are only able to do so in the smaller preview pane space. Thus, you can only view a few lines of your email at a time. You cannot see what the person to whom you are replying has written, unless you scroll down every time. Nor can you see more than 3 or 4 lines of what you have written, unless you scroll back and forth.
The ability to compose new emails or reply to someone's email in a new window or at least in a full-screen view is basically essential, because it is so much harder to view the context of your entire mail. There is no reason why user should need to choose between a preview pane and the ability to draft and respond to emails in a full-screen manner.
I cannot for the life of me understand what the h the developers were thinking when they *removed* this ability/functionality from the new Outlook. As a Hotmail/Outlook user for more than TWENTY years, I have to say that if this functionality is not restored, it will be what gets me to move all of my online email use to Gmail, which I seldom use right now.

emails got delayed! and need new pop up window when replying, forwarding and creating new mail messages
I agree! I liked that a new message opened up in a new window. I often have several attachments that I need to send in messages. The new version doesn't allow me to easily do this. I want the Classic Version Back!!

Need to open the ''new message'' in a different window!
Can we just have a parameter set up button to do this (for all the time) instead of having to ''click' (upper right - new window) everytime on a new message !
If I want this 1000 time in one year...I'll have to click (new window) 1000 times !
One click in the parameters should do for ever !

How can I create a new email in the new version but in a new tab? Since this new upgrade a new message opens at the bottom of the screen which means it is hard to see especially if you use a small screen such as a laptop and you simply cannot see what is being typed beyond the immediate line of type.
I want it to open in a new tab like it used to.

Please give users the option to have their messages open in a new window by default. The new Outlook preview system is truly a pain.
