Deleted items re-appearing
Getting really sixk of deleting emails only to have them reappear multiple times.
Hey all, wanted to provide an update here. It seems like some people are having an issue where the deleted items are causing the mailbox to hit the storage limit. Please select all messages in deleted items by clicking the circle check mark next to Deleted Items. Then choose “Empty folder”. This should delete all items and free up storage in your mailbox. If you are having trouble sending emails because of a storage limit, this should help
If you are having other issues, please fill out this form and we’ll try to see what’s going on: https://forms.microsoft.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=v4j5cvGGr0GRqy180BHbR3M5kvKXLUxLg5HHvJDXsGlUMTkyUVdRNjlQV1c5UThZWVhORE04WjJUSS4u
I can't get any new mail because when I empty my deleted items folder, all the items return. This effectively neutralizes my ability to use Hotmail.
Has this been resolved. Its been going on almost a year? Happening to me now. Is there any fix or do I need to open a new email account?

We are now into the third year of this rubbish. You talk to someone from Outlook that say follow these rules
You can block a domain or a single user by right clicking on the email and BLOCK (what a load of **** IT DOES NOT WORK)
on Saturday I spoke with someone via email named SUGAR gave this person the code ect and they told me it was something to do with Outlook settings and they would sort it (again load of ****)
Since then I have had 10 emails all telling me that I have a visa debit card going to sent by fedex with hundred of millions of dollars on them. You report them as 'Phishing you would think sorted (yeah right) you have just open the flood gates for more to arrive and Outlook don't give a dam or have a clue how to fix this.
when it use to be Hotmail you clicked delete and delete MEANT delete unlike Outlook where you mark delete and then it all goes to the deleted folder then you have to empty that folder.
Just for you Outlook the meanings
DELETE = to remove something PERMANENT from a document or file and unless backed up it can not be recovered.
BLOCK/ED = to stop unwanted contact from someone meaning they can't send mail, phone calls, letters, emails. If after blocking unwanted contact the person doing could be breaking the law and should be reported to your provider if email/phone calls where they should be able to put measures in place to stop the messages. If by letter or other forms of mail you can contact the police to investigate.
I am now sick of reporting this problem to Outlook and Microsoft and have wrote to my Local MP for him to write to both companies on my behalf to hopefully get this matter sorted. I have also asked that the company are brought in front of the select committee to answer why after 3 years this problem has not be solved and Outlook users are being ignored.
Has soon as I get a reply I will of course post it here but like the rest of us I feel my MP will get the same response as we have been given for the last 3 years. Bring back Hotmail never had to complain once and if did it was fixed within moments not years
my last email was 7/17/19

I have followed the "made a rule" instructions regarding all the "appspot.com" emails that flood me daily to no avail. It is beyond ridiculous and offensive. Please help.
can you sort out my problem. - I cannot get rid of emails ! My mailbox is stuck
I experience the same problem over different browsers. On my email account directly on my computer it's fine. But on my samsung app + any browser on the web or any computer. I see already deleted emails again.

Getting WAY too much junk mail which blocking and unsubscribing does absolutely nothing. To make matters even worse, the emails that are not junk are going to junk mail which is totally unacceptable. Something needs to be done about this ASAP!
I also cannot delete emails so my inbox is full meaning I cannot receive or send emails. I have spent an hour following a virtual agents instructions and when he couldn't help, he then closed the chat. This is disgusting and from reading on here it appears to be a widespread problem for a number of months. This is happening on internet explorer and google chrome. I can only contact tech support via an email link which takes me directly to my useless account where I can't send emails. Why is it so difficult for you to resolve?
Kind of amazing that Outlook has not responded to this issue for 9 months, despite over 500 complaints here. I have 7,900 messages on one account that are impossible to delete. My PC is repeatedly synchronizing these, whatever that means.
When I delete an email, I want it gone, and not have to delete it, from three (or more) other folders!

You guys supposedly did this for me, but nothing has changed
These came in the past hour or so,
yes, this is annoying to the point it states that my outlook storage is full
Even when they're marked as 'Phishing' or 'Block', the same messages reappear again and again. What's the use of this function???? It doesn't seem to do anything
Same problem since Outlook bought Hotmail.
How is it possible not to give better features on that problem since months ?
I hope you'll find a solution soon cause I waist my time often just trying to delete 5 mails.
So about 2400 mails in one time, can you imagine ?
Hotmail did that really much better previously than Outlook...
