Can no longer drag & drop emails to folders
Can no longer drag and drop emails to folders. It only works if that email is not the current one open. So if I have only one email left in my inbox (I like to keep my inbox empty) I can't drag and drop that last remaining email because that one is "open" I have to click on the little circle to the left of the email, then from the drop down folder menu click on the folder I want it to go to. This is more time consuming .This is using google chrome and IE and from other computers as well, both PC and Mac.
We’ve fixed and shipped this bug fix. Drag/drop should now work in all browsers.
In the new version, I can no longer click and drag a message from my Inbox to a folder. I have to move off the current message and then click and drage the one I want to move. This means a double maneuver, which is a step backwards from the previous version of Outlook.

You've made it SUPER hard to move messages from the inbox to the folders. Please fix this feature.
Drag'n'drop from inbox to a folder is not working when the option "Show email ans individual message" is active in the configurations

I hope you add back in (to the new Outlook interface) the ability to drag emails from the inbox into folders. Very irritating to have to search for a folder every other time I want to file something from my inbox.

Drag and drop to folders is no longer working properly. The only way to move an item to a folder is to use the "Move to" function... which only shows that most recent folders, and can be significantly more time consuming.

It would be great if we could drag and drop emails to the desktop, or any other file folder location on our computers. Right now, the drag and drop only works on the folders created in Outlook, on the left hand side of the pane. Drag and drop works on the Outlook App, or the program, but not on Outlook.com. Adding a desktop folder on the left side would be a nice feature to have.

Drag to move messages to a folder not working. Have to select and then Move and select folder - more time consuming
After selecting multiple emails, I cannot drag into folders - dragging is currently limited to one email at a time. It would be beneficial to allow multi-drag function to highlight and sort multiple emails into folders quickly.
When i click on my inbox, in the left panel, then I can't drop one message into a folder
I have to refresh my browser to be able to do it
This is really annoying
Could you help me
Your drag and drop from main inbox feature is broken.
When i select multiple items from any folder in the right hand view pane, and then try and drag and drop them over to the list view on the left hand side the mouse icon appears with a 'circle with a line though it' and blocks me from doing so.
This means i have to copy over those 5 -20 emails one at a time!
Please can you investigate and fix. Otherwise so far liking the outlook beta.
new Outlook doesnt allow multiple emails to be dragged and dropped to folders. Even single emails can be dragged inconsistently. Step backwards. Please fix!

WHY would you get rid of drag and drop????? I WANT it back to file emails instead of having to go click to move it to another file!!!

Why can't we drag items from our inbox to a folder like we used to be able to do?

Drag and dropping emails to folders does not work. It did before but does not currently work. The email and folder do not indicate the email can be dropped. The only way to organize into folders is to use the Move menu function.
