Improve performance and filtering
Improve your junk message filtering. My important message is going into the junk folder. Also plz improve the performance as well. It has become very slow now. Opening an email takes a lot of time even though I am using wifi which has very good internet speed.

When are you going to sort this out, Microsoft? It would be better and safer not to have a spam filter and let us judge whether it is spam. Important messages from senders in the conact list are lost.

I need a better way to filter my junk mail. If mail has been identified as junk, there is no reason to stay in the junk folder for 30 days. By that time we could accumalte 1000 junk mails in that folder. Please, either delete any mail identified as junk automatcally or no later than 2 days. If you are on travel, your time is limited and very important o spend it on junk mails.
Junk eMail has gone from " 0 " to over 10 a day !!!!! WHY ? Having to click on block only uses up my allotted block saves ….

you lost my message again that was in junk mail
Apple App store fake receipts keep getting into my inbox no matter how many times I classified them as junk. Outlook's spam filter is behind the times esp. compared to Gmail. Also, some emails that I've classified as not junk keep getting into my junk. Not sure what algorithm Outlook uses but its not that smart..

OMG I wish i could block a domain. I am a straight female and continually get thing from women want to be with a male. Like some of the thing they want to do would make a stripper blush. I also receive invites to join the males side of different dating like silver **** singles we have lots of women want to meet you and *** for single males. How am I suppose to stop this. I get between 15 and 30 a day and I block and mark as spam
SOOO tired of blocking the same senders of junk & spam everyday, it's gotten to be ridiculous. And the amount of them keeps increasing everyday. When are you going to get this fixed?? Block & phishing used to work, but not for a long time now.

The amount of newsletter@**.icu emails going into the junk folder has now gone beyond ludicrous and solutions from MS are below nil - not a care on their part. These newsletter@**.icu emails have gone from 5 or 6 a day the junk folder to 'hundreds' per day in less than a month. No other email service is having this problem nor even has had this problem. It's even happening in the so-called 'paid' version of outlook.com. Until MS gives the user full control of their own 'working' blocking, phishing, junk, rules, etc, it will continue. It's almost as if there some type of collusion and/or secret cooperation going on between MS and their partners/advertisers.
The solution to this is easy but probably wont be implemented. I've included rules using subjects of emails to automatically delete ones with certain words and they still get through to my junk folder.
Simple regex would allow you to find domains that are abusing the system. You'd be able to ignore all of the garbled parts of their domain and find the simple ".xyz", ".site", etc. parts and find "hey this random domain is sending from 18 million addresses, maybe we should block that IP?"
Hire smart programmers please. Google can do this no problem. The only reason I'm staying with you guys is because it's too hard for me to forward all of my emails to a gmail account.
Ever since purchasing an item from USA I've been plagued with up to 200 items a day in my Junk folder making it almost impossible to sort emails I need to read & those that in many cases are just pornographic. Outlook don't seem to care - I've written to them a couple of times. Surely there's something they can do so we can permanently block these offensive or just plain spam emails.
Junk mail everyday from .nl .tech .icu .xyz .ect .ect .ect come on MS you guys can give us an option to block this stuff from ever getting to our inbox

My block default on my emails is not even working atm.
But I agree this suggestion is a good idea and I support it.
The spam geyser continues (and has been going for months) with ever-changing bogus domains such as "newsletter"@fakeweirdname.us, "newsletter"@fakeweirdname.icu and so on. I blocked so many ".us" spam emails, they had to switch to the ".icu" extension. Now I'm blocking hundreds of those daily just like I did with the ".us" extension. The endless combinations make it impossible to deal but you already knew that. Either you simply don't care or you're powerless to stop it and don't have the cojones to admit it.
I'm getting deluged with spam e-mails that end in ".icu", literally dozens every day. There's no way to block them because there's always a different word/phrase in front of ".icu" - how much is MSN being paid by the entity ".icu" to spam me and everybody else???

Someone was bold enough to hack my email account some date in the last week of April 2019, and to send me an email using my account name as the sender! My name appeared three times on the “From” bar! The third times the sender associated my name as someone @ this strange address:….. <SXLqf-Oew@Oew.departmentusa.club>
That was quite a shock to me! Even after over 20 years of activities on the net. Apparently, Bing is unable to locate <SXLqf-Oew@Oew.departmentusa.club>! A first in my years of experience with that search outlet! Fortunately the competitor holds the highest degrees in this field!
I am bringing this issue up here because one of the consequences of that HACK is the tsunami, the avalanche, the tornado... of COMMERCIAL ADS into my mailbox. RESULT: I spend more time complaining about MSN now than ever in the past. Especially, about those hours invested in sorting through hundreds of ads, which “It,” the criminal robot, keeps damping into the Spam Box. Unfortunately, that's my only route to avoid missing legitimate mails. I have tried blocking the senders; but to no avail!
I visualize that entity as an association of cyber criminals who, earlier this year, hacked the medical records of over 50 millions households in the USA. S/he/they might have forced the bankruptcy of a corporation. I understand their need to break down my wall of “repugnance”. Possibly, they have obtained carte blanche for that task from the Penthousers.
Ironically, the Outlook robots continue to reproach me for not accepting ads! Their teachers are probably too “young” mentally to internalize the notion that some folks do not care about forceful manipulation!
This long tirade is not against ethical, conscientious, respectful professionals!
Thanks for reading, and have a safe, fruitful week!
Read a response below from a few days ago - from David Los at Microsoft - about how some things were being done about this spam and junk mail issue. Felt encouraged for a few days that something may FINALLY be getting done on your end, BUT...after getting over 100 spams in less than 24 hours - many the usual offensive garbage - I just can't even believe that this problem will ever be fixed. What is going on??? Why can't you fix this???

I only started receiving spam mail a week ago. I'm now getting on average 50 emails a day that are spam. I haven't changed anything with Outlook so why has it suddenly started?
Why are you sending messages from my contacts - some of whom I regularly receive mail from - into my junk folder? I have marked them as "not spam" several times to no avail.
