Red dot
Dear Team,
At times even if I am not received any new email in my Inbox, a red dot mark appears as notification in the tab (IE & other Browser's Tab) - which is very irritating while I'm engaged with some other work on other tab.
Also the count of recently received unread mails in Inbox doesn't go away even after I have read all the unread emails, until I refresh the page.
Could you Please fix these two irritating errors, to enhance user experience in Outlook Beta ?
Thanks for looking into my request.

Stop showing that red dot that should mean I have new mail when I don't. Very annoying and wastes my time!

The stupid RED DOT appearing on the tab in my browser, supposedly to alert me to a new email. WELL this red dot is appearing frequently and there is NO new email. This whole new look is rubbish. ALSO, where is the 'refresh' function??? You took it away, and it is unacceptable.

It's a bit annoying that the tab with outlook open shows the 'red dot' which a guess means new message, whether internal or in my mailbox, randomly, when there is nothing new.

The favicon icon for outlook occasionally has a red dot appear in it when I leave it as a background tab.
Originally I though this was because of a new message, but then the last few times I've seen the red dot and then switched to the outlook tab there have been no new messages. However, after opening the outlook tab the red dot in the favicon disappeared.
I'm not sure what the purpose of this is, but it's annoying to see a red indicator as if there is something for me to check only to find that there is nothing there to check.

What is that red dot appearing on outllook.com tab's blue favicon. This favicon disappears the moment i click on already open outlook tab. I assume not a indicator of new mails, also can't approve if someone is online on contact list for outlook or skype instant messaging. I would like to know What is that red dot on favicon ?

red dot shows up, letting me know about new message - but sometimes there is no new message, so it's just teasing!

I often get a little red dot on my outlook mail tab. I always assume it is a notification that I have a new email or something similar, but when I move to the tab, there is no new email, or any changes. I find this confusing.

When a spam email is received in the inbox, the browser tab icon has a red dot. Don't think the tab should have a red dot for spam emails. Thanks

How do you turn off the red dot notifying of new email? This is really annoying likely meaning I will have to close the tab.

It is confusing! I don't like the Focused & Other tabs. I seriously do not think I'm going to find a better use out of it. Please. Get rid of those. The new beta version is even more confusing! I just switched to the beta version for a split second, trying to delete some mails. But then the Inbox notification still tells me that I still have all those mails, whereas I just deleted all of them.
