Red dot
Dear Team,
At times even if I am not received any new email in my Inbox, a red dot mark appears as notification in the tab (IE & other Browser's Tab) - which is very irritating while I'm engaged with some other work on other tab.
Also the count of recently received unread mails in Inbox doesn't go away even after I have read all the unread emails, until I refresh the page.
Could you Please fix these two irritating errors, to enhance user experience in Outlook Beta ?
Thanks for looking into my request.

Does anyone also noticed their maps in the favourites section also disappear before their eyes when in outlook? And that there is also being scrolled through their youtube channel without moving their mouse or navigating in any way when seeing the scrolling appear by itself?

Come on Microsoft... don't do as if you didn't know. This little F___ dot is just for you a way to make sure that we will jump straight away at our account so as to check any new mail. Play fair and stop with this dot. Don't act ******* like Gmail would do and STOP ******* WITH OUR MAIL!!!

Found a solution for Chrome. Seems to work.
Go to the tab at the top. Right click. Choose "mute site."
Did that several weeks ago - haven't seen the red dot since

Microsoft really needs to up their UX. Sometimes it feels like they never so any user testing at all.

Also getting really annoyed with this. It wastes my time and I'll have to just stop taking notice of it which utterly defeats the object of the notification in the first place.

Outlook devs, do you have something more important to do than fix long-lived annoyances?
If not, please allocate some time to get rid of the invalid states of the TAB's RED DOT

It's dead obvious what's going on here. Click bait. Every time Microsoft changes their GD advertisement you get a dot. Annoying. As. ****. What's worse, on their "answers" website, they refuse to admit this, but lead complainers down false trails like some BS about clutter folders.

Is this maybe to do with having Focused Inbox turned off? I turned mine on and in the 'Other' tab there was suddenly a rolling cast of unread Ad emails at the top of the list which don't show up anywhere when Focused inbox is off. So I think it's ads coming into the email account that aren't shown anywhere unless Focused Inbox is on.
