Contacts birthday shifted
Birthday on contacts card ist shifted one day back, while in the old view the date is correct. Very annoying.
Many functions missing: connected accounts, remove - add birthday calendar, rules and last but not least proper sync of contacts with Outlook!

Same problem. I migrated to ms 365 business standard international an all birthdays one day too early. This was on the desktop app and in the owa. I can't change over 150 birthday dates and need help asap! Thank you.

Just this week in a similar context when I migrated contacts from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 365 (2019), I was annoyed that the birthdays of my contacts were one day early after the synchronization on outlook.com.
The solution approach presented in my discussion post (e.g. with VBA code) may also help with this problem:

Some birthdays in Outlook.com Calendar are 1 day earlier. Outlook 365, Windows 10 Mail and Calendar show these birthdays on the correct date.

Why do the birthdays show up the day prior?

Birthday calendar is one day prior to birthday for most (I had only one correct). Have to edit each instance twice to get them to the correct date (once to wrong date and then again to the correct date). The correct date showed on the edit pane.

Outlook.com Calendar (in the browser) shows birthdays one day early.
However in Outlook 365 and in Nine Email and Calendar on Galaxy S10+ the birthdays are shown on the correct days. -

I experience this also and it's very annoying. All birthdays are +1 and since I live in Australia, nowhere in the world is a day ahead!!
Please can you fix this as it's been a bug for over a year now.
Thanks

the outlook calendar does not display correctly anymore!! Why not???? Someone "improve" something? The days overlap in monthly mode. This **** started about 2 days ago, bet there was a "new" thing done about that time!!

The issue:
Outlook.com account added to an Apple device.
Outlook.com contacts (new and old) display Birthday +1 day on the Apple device.The issue exists for new and old contacts created in Outlook.com.
The issue exists for new and old contacts created on the Apple device.The steps below are for a new contact created in Outlook.com.
Outlook.com:
Create a new contact with a birthday of 01/01/2001.
Birthday = 01/01/2001 (Outlook.com)
Refresh Apple device (e.g., check email, forcing a sync)
Birthday = 01/02/2001 (Apple device). Birthday has shifted +1 dayApple device:
Edit contact, change Birthday from 01/02/2001 to 01/03/2001.
Birthday = 01/03/2001 (Outlook.com)
Refresh Apple device (e.g., check email, forcing a sync)
Birthday = 01/04/2001 (Apple device). Birthday has shifted +1 dayOutlook.com:
Edit contact, change Birthday from 01/03/2001 to 01/04/2001.
Birthday = 01/04/2001 (Outlook.com)
Refresh Apple device (e.g., check email, forcing a sync)
Birthday = 01/05/2001 (Apple device). Birthday has shifted +1 dayWhen I first noticed the above phenomenon, I contacted Apple. After a thorough investigation, the Apple engineers identified the issue is with how Outlook.com maps the Birthday field to another platform. They are willing to discuss the matter directly with an Outlook.com engineer.

Fix the birthday sync for iOS contacts so that they do not move for 1 day. The problem has been known since 2012 !! Until you fix this, Outlook.com and Office365 are useless. Rather, move corporate data from Office365 to G-Suite or iCloud. My patience after 7 years has expired

I confirm this - birthdays have one day difference between synced devices. This is why I still can't use outlook contacts :(
This fix should have a high priority.

So anoying. It's stuff like this that keep me from actually using outlook.com as a primary source. Contact Birthdays. You'd expect stuff like that to work in 2018...
So once again I end up using a wild mix of accounts with outlook.com ONLY serving as a mail server.

The symptom, described below for an outlook.com account that is synced with MacBook Air/iPad/iPhone:
Outlook.com XYZ contact created with a birthday of 01/01/2001.
Apple XYZ contact shows birthday as 01/02/2001 (shifts +1 day)
Outlook.com XYZ contact unchanged. Birthday still 01/01/2001Conversely,
Apple ABC contact created with a birthday of 01/01/2001.
After a refresh (e.g., check email on Apple device, forcing a sync)....
Apple ABC contact birthday changes to 01/02/2001.
Outlook.com ABC contact unchanged. Birthday shows 01/01/2001. -

Birthdays in contacts keep shifting by a day. Last year, they all shifted earlier by a day. This year, they have all shifted later by a day. It is very annoying to have to keep correcting the birthdays and to keep text notes for them because you can't trust that the contact data is correct.

Fix the birthday "day" issue. When syncing contacts with Android or iOS, the birthdays on the devices is always 1 day off compared to People on the web. This in turn affects the Calendar app on the devices as well.
