Whenever you copy / paste in the email address field, it doesn't let you edit the email address! This is a huge problem. For example, I pasted "email@example.com", but I forgot to put the L at the beginning. It automatically formats the email address as if it's already an email address and provides no way to edit this, even if clicking on it, it already acts like it's a contact but provides zero quick way to edit the address due to a typo. Really a miss by MS on this one. In Gmail, you can simply click on an email in the TO field and it allows you to edit the address no problem.

My old Hotmail would allow me to copy and paste with my beautiful excel sheets. Now the color is gone and the boxes are messed up (merge boxes are gone and extra boxes are added in strange places. I'm not sure if this happened with your new outlook experience but I can't work with an email that I can't copy and paste things with out messing it up. I've used Hotmail for over 20 years and this is heart breaking for me to think about leaving. Please FIX or bring back the old Hotmail - please, please, please!!!

I updated Windows Office yesterday. That was a big mistake. What good is any of this if I can't copy text from Word and paste it into an email? Come on, Microsoft, stop trying to control the world.

Why am I suddenly unable to copy text and past it to another location in a hotmail draft? This doesn't work on my macbookd pro and it doesn't work when I use a windows computer. Why are you people constantly screwing things up???????

Copy-paste don't work anymore. In place, I get some "scripted" lines. Could you please correct that? Thank you, Pascal Clausen

Copying from one email to another, extra text is pasted, some kind of code re: "version 2" or something. On
deleting this extra text, the whole pasted, wanted, pasted text then disappears. Please fix.

cant copy and paste from email title and some contents on emails
grateful if you test, check and if required update your software
This. Tried to copy an excerpt from a forwarded message. No option to do so (unless you're old-school and use ctrl-c). The right-click menu and the editing menu have no "copy" option.
I'm in a foul mood already... but how in the world is this overlooked, and for 8+ months ALT+63

I let Support know about this issue in the Beta testing phase as I was very concerned that it would not work when they switched my account to the new updated version. Of course it still doesn't work. I use this function nearly every day for my work. I have several dozen email addresses that will not list separately now and therefore I cannot do my work! Please Outlook fix this immediately - I choose to use Outlook because of this function and I am a paying customer. It has always worked in the past.

why cant I copy and paste an email from Outlook?
Using the Beta version and I can not copy and paste text from an email. Need to do this frequently. Switching back
I can't copy from an e-mail. In the preview window, I can't highlight text and copy it to the clipboard. This works fine pre-beta.
Copying and pasting is difficult.
1. When I want to copy a single address out of a group I can't figure out a way to do this.
2. I cannot copy text from a previously sent email.
