Simple interface
Once again we are trialing a new OUTLOOK.COM BETA Interface.
THE OLD : Is far more responsive with less visuals in regards to load and refresh time with less cost on resources and memory utilization.
THE NEW : Seems to drag its heals with to much visuals in regards to load and refresh time with greater usage of resources and memory utilization.
READ ON :
I find that the new interface is too heavy on resources when it comes to older computers that are running a 32 Bit system with limited memory of around 2.75 to 3.25 Gigabyte of memory.
To this affect being able to have more control over the interface to be able to change between either a SIMPLE LAYOUT or ADVANCED LAYOUT would be nice in regards to visuals and information.
For example for LOW END COMPUTERS as i have mentioned above being able to change to a SIMPLE MAIL LAYOUT with LESS VISUALS for MAIL much like the OLD MAIL LAYOUT would greatly reduce the cost of resources and memory utilization reducing load times.
( I find that in the NEW OUTLOOK.COM MAIL BETA in its full glory with all bells and whistles, it drags its heals whilst loading with too much visuals / information / pictures / banners / attachments an so forth on the open window ).
Having the ability to control and switch these ON or OFF so it looks much more like the OLD OUTLOOK.COM MAIL would be nice and reduce the cost of resources and memory utilization.
( With the OLD OUTLOOK.COM MAIL it was still possible to have many more WINDOWS OPEN in the BACKGROUND and work on these at the same time without running out of MEMORY causing HARD DRIVE THRASHING in regards to older spec computers )
At the moment it reminds me of Online Newspapers and For Sale Advertising Platforms.
A good calendar and colourful emoticons or emojis would be nice as well.
Overall more control to the User over the INTERFACE would be nice so one could set up OUTLOOK.COM BETA to where it would run the best over a greater spectrum of computers from the OLD LOW SPEC to the LATEST and GREATEST NEW.
Old thing pass to give birth to new but control is required in the governance of all things great and small.
Kind regards.
The Rat.

I did all the recommended things like turn off conversation and view panel. It is still much slower than the old version. And I don't appreciate just getting such a boilerplate response. This sluggishness really needs to be fixed.

Keep changing things (for the worse) and you will soon put yourself out of business. Simplicity is the key to a better MS
