Keep Notes Section In Calendar Event
When making a calendar event in the current Outlook.com there is a section to add notes. This is missing in the Beta Calendar. Notes are visible in the Beta from entries made in the current Outlook.com Calendar but you are unable to edit them. I use the notes section to remind me of details about calendar events. The loss of this option would force me to use a different Calendar app/service.

Thank you for your feedback! The deployment for notes in a calendar event in the Outlook.com beta is now complete. If you refresh, you should be able to see the experience.

I greatly prefer the OLD Calendar's feature of providing a space for appointment Notes. Please add this feature to the Beta version of Calendar.

in the Outlook.com beta version, how to add descriptions(notes) for calendar events? for example. I may need to write down several lines to remind myself what to say for some event.

The fact that Microsoft is working on adding the notes section back into the calendar, fails to address the question of why it was removed, to begin with. Obviously, no one there did a usability study first. Pretty pathetic, to say the least.

Me encantaría la versuión Beta si incluyeran el resumen de los eventos clasificandolos por día semana y mes como en la anterioro versión.
Y tambien poder agregar notas en cada evento.Saludos :)

Thumbs down, cannot add notes on my calendar via web interface, selecting next/prev month with up/dn arrow is less intuitive that left/right

Outlook Beta Calendar - How come you can no longer add notes to calendar entries? This needs to be fixed or I can't switch from the old calendar.

Unusable and useless without a notes field. Do not release even a so-called "beta" in this state. I reverted out of beta and will not use it until notes are available. If it is removed as a feature i will leave outlook calendar. Anybody there that understands users or are you all engineers.

I appreciate you are working on adding notes back into the 'beta' version... seriously though, Microsoft's approach reminds me of Alan Cooper's book, "The Inmates Are Running The Asylum".
Great read, full of commonsense. MS software developers... please read.

When creating an appointment in the new Outlook Beta calendar, I find it difficult to add additional notes. I ended up reverting back to the old view to add the note, then switching beta back on.

The Beta Calendar is missing some features I regularly used and loved. The two major ones are the ability to invite others to events, and to add notes to events.

YASS! The notes section is insanely critical.
Oooh, I have a meeting with someone at 3:30 pm, wtf is the meeting about? is there a dial-in code, is there a description?
It's hard to imagine anyone inside Microsoft using the calendar the way it is now.

I understand there may be huge complications with backwards compatibility of Notes content, and synchronisation of different backend storage mechanisms, but it's very disappointing to roll out a Beta calendar without a Notes section. It's difficult to think of a calendar (including the paper calendar in my kitchen) that doesn't have a notes sections, highlighting what a fundamental piece of functionality it is. Microsoft... with all the expertise and resources at your disposal, why would you choose to release a Beta that doesn't fulfil the basic functional requirements? As a technical architect that's keen to target the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, I look to Microsoft to show me how it's done... and in this instance you can do better.

I really need the 'notes' function in the beta browser version of this. When is it coming?
