Keep Notes Section In Calendar Event
When making a calendar event in the current Outlook.com there is a section to add notes. This is missing in the Beta Calendar. Notes are visible in the Beta from entries made in the current Outlook.com Calendar but you are unable to edit them. I use the notes section to remind me of details about calendar events. The loss of this option would force me to use a different Calendar app/service.

Thank you for your feedback! The deployment for notes in a calendar event in the Outlook.com beta is now complete. If you refresh, you should be able to see the experience.

It's been 7 months now and still no joy.
It's interesting to see though, the Beta version will show notes that were put in an appointment from the calendar on my phone. So the functionality is there, why can't we use it?

How can any calendar program not have a space for notes? The comment from Microsoft said they were working on this in February. Thats 6 months ago. Really a shame. This should have been a core feature from the onset.

Adding people and notes to calendar events is ESSENTIAL. Beta does not allow this to happen.

Hi!
Just a note on the calendar for Outlook Beta, while creating an event on the calendar, it has very limited features compared to the previous version. At the very least, please add the feature for adding/inviting people to the event via email.
Thank you!

Come on Outlook.com, let's get the notes section back in and fixed please. I use the feature OK with the app in my iPhone but can't do it on my laptop which means I add an event to my laptop version and then have to go and edit it from my phone - not very efficient.

Why does Microsoft keep starting over when all their competitors keep building their products? Why do you drop basic functionality even your own calendars have had for decades?

Please, bring back the note section asap.
It's a very important part of the calendar.
It makes all the difference.Whoever thought it was not important should be briefed seriously.
Thx

Feb 2018 - working on adding this feature
Jul 2018 - no updates. What are you working on that takes priority over this basic/blocker functionality.
Are you trying to push users towards Google?

The Calendar Beta is missing a lot a features from the current Calendar such as being able to add notes/descriptions, multiple reminder options, being able to set reminder emails, just to name a few. The Calendar Beta does have some nice new features but I find myself always going back to the current Calendar because of the missing features as mentioned.

Outlook Calendar Team,
you made the calendar useless 6 months ago and turned a deaf ear to all complaints, please don't just give lip service, simply bring back the old calendar features if you are sincere to solve the problem.
