Allow an option to disable Safelinks
The safelinks should be an option. I prefer to hover over the link and determine if it is junk
I just wanted to send a quick update. You should all be seeing this setting now in the Outlook.com options.
Look for it in the Premium dashboard.
Hope it helps
Difficult to see URL links when hovering - all start with https://namo1.safelinks.protection.outlook.com yadda yadda
Before we could see a link url by hovering but now they all start with the outlook protection URL which makes it difficult to know what exactly is in the link.
A phishing email was sent by someone pretending to be twitter but on hovering on the link it's hard to tell that it isn't an official email...
When showing the words "safelinks and protection" it might make you think the link is safe when its not.
I would rather hover and see the URL like the rest of the entire Internet does.

This is a major security risk and needs to change ASAP, it used to be very easy to see if a email was spam for example a email from fake paypal hovering over the link would show the URL
Normally it would show as, so we can see this is not Paypal.com: -
But now is shows as and I can not tell if this is official or fake so I have to click the link to find out that its fake: -
also official emails are also scrambled by this so called protection how do we turn this off to protect my account?
Having Advanced Threat Protection masking all the links in my emails make it hard to see where they lead to. I get quite a few plain-text emails where the masked URLs take up a lot of space (4 lines). It would be great if this could be disabled or changed, so I can see where my links lead.

All of my hyperlinks have been replaced by obfuscated "safelinks" URLs. This isn't making me any safer if I can't tell where I'm about to go if I click a link.
I don't want all my links in my received e-mails to be rewritten with 'protection.outlook.com'
This feature should be optional.
It used to be that when hovering over hyperlinked buttons in an email, the URL for the link would display in the lower-left corner. THIS IS A CRUCIAL FEATURE for detecting spam. I used to know if links were safe, and now I don't. Huge. It's been taken away in the production version, and sadly, I don't see it in the beta either.
I noticed that email embedded links now point to something redirected through safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=<original URL>
I'm sure this solves real problems and it seems a clever trick, but I think it also creates new problems: before it was quick and easy for someone to glance at a target link to spot spoof attempts. With this redirection it's easy to think that a link is "safe".
The new Safe Links feature is makes it difficult to check URLs contained in emails by hovering the mouse over the link (it just shows a huge long URL and it's often not possible to check if it's a valid site or not). I want to be able to turn this "security" feature off.
I don't need MS to organize my email, i am capable of doing it myself. I don't trust MS to integrate my schedule, tasks or details. Blaming "MS" for me not doing my job is immature. I can handle it on my own. I would prefer a more basic viewing-no conversations, and more control over my own settings, from junk to spam. ATP is a failure, and I would hate to have anything like that in my email.
Old version could easily mark an email as 'newsletter', which meant it was included in 'delete after 30 days' rule. Cannot find any way to mark emails with categories in the beta version
Don't block email links that I have been receiving for years without the ability to make them safe easily. I should be warned then given the option not blocked without one. That would seem reasonable, with the addition that if I deem it safe you do not ask again either. One of these changes has now blocked links from newsletters that I have been going to. It wouldn't be bad if it was all then I would say it is a flaw. It is interestingly enough, selective by Microsoft. As newsletters that link to Amazon go through no problem. Amazon is not immune to the phishing and challenges. Please give me power back over my personal email.

Over the last 24-48 hours I have noticed all the links in my e-mails have changed to https://nam06.safelinks.protection.outlook.com........... and are failing to load "due to an internal error"
Please make this feature optional (toggle on/off in settings).
Should the ATP Safe Links service be discontinued at any stage in another 4-5 years, etc.... I don't want the links to become invalid, because it seems to modify the e-mail as it's received (none of my old e-mails are affected).
Particuarly annoying... I can't open any links in my recent e-mails because the new feature is bugged!!
In older versions it was possible to mark a sender and also an organisation as safe WITHOUT having to 'add as a contact' or mark as a category.
It makes sense for the easy management of Junk Mail to have a quick option to mark safe the specific sender AND the organisation - meaning all other senders are marked safe too (i.e. 'email@example.com') and future emails will come to the Inbox.
