Allow an option to disable Safelinks
The safelinks should be an option. I prefer to hover over the link and determine if it is junk
I just wanted to send a quick update. You should all be seeing this setting now in the Outlook.com options.
Look for it in the Premium dashboard.
Hope it helps

"If you are sure you want this advanced Outlook.com security removed, then please click Yes below."
THERE IS NO YES BELOW!
I hate safelinks for several reasons and have had it disabled before, but it has been enabled again. I dearly want to turn it off, but following Outlook's instructions gets me to a dead end. Please. please. please understand what a waste of my time you are causing. And let me know how to actually disable safelinks. -

Please disable safelinks as it is a terrible feature from a usability perspective.
It obscures the address of valid links and make it difficult for me to judge whether a link is valid or not (and I do not trust safelinks to be 100% accurate so I need to check myself).
The safelinks website is also unreliable, meaning that it often fails to load and I need to go to https://www.freeformatter.com/url-encoder.html#ad-output to decode the URL (note - the URL works fine after decoding which means the error is in safelinks) -

I need to see previews of the links in emails, now every link preview is replaced with a safelinks url. Could have both things, the preview and the safelinks protection. No need to eliminate one for the other.

Microsoft advanced Protection is converting all links to nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com to code. It only happens when the recipient is using non html email or when they respond
First, I have an @msn.com (or what ever your @ is) email address. This is not an Office 365 business email address!
All the links in my email are prefaced https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com. Looking this up is part of the Exchange advanced threat protection package which they talk about in Office 365 for business. I understand that this is problem that must be solved through back end ATP configuration! Again, this is happening on a personal account, not a business account."Thank you.

Please allow the safelink feature to be turned off. It is too slow to be used. Every time I click on a link in my email it tries to go through the safelink site, and the page I wish to access never get loaded. Now I have to to do this every time I want to check a Web site through email,
1) Click on the safelink URL on Outlook hoping the loading would work.
2) Failed.
3) Copy the safelink URL from email.
4) Paste the safelink URL to a URL parser and parse it.
5) Got the url parameters from the parsed link and visit the URL directly, the URL loads immediately. As a user, I appreciate the effort in making the browsing experience safer, but please make sure the service would work for everyone before launching, at least provide a way to turn off such feature if it does not work for everyone.
Thanks!

Dear customer support,
I kindly claim to disable the Advanced Security Feature (Safelinks) for my account with immediate effect!
Please escalate to the Outlook.com Engineering Team in case.
I'm refering to your statement "contact our customer service team via in-product support to have them deactivate the features on your behalf": https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Advanced-Outlook-com-security-for-Office-365-subscribers-882d2243-eab9-4545-a58a-b36fee4a46e2
We do not want the Safelinks "service" and you should necessarily make it opt-in at least! Here's why: https://blog.tylerbickford.com/2016/06/16/microsoft-advanced-threat-protection-is-a-disaster/
Thanks in advance, kind regards
