Allow an option to disable Safelinks
The safelinks should be an option. I prefer to hover over the link and determine if it is junk
I just wanted to send a quick update. You should all be seeing this setting now in the Outlook.com options.
Look for it in the Premium dashboard.
Hope it helps

Safelinks protection has prevented me from opening any email links for a couple days. Please fix it or turn it off.

Asking for deactivation of SafeLinks results in a help page where it is asked to select Yes to but there is no Yes button!

The "Link Protection" feature is a violation of user privacy. Please give the users an option to remove the link protection.

Links in emails are broken. There is some intermediate Outlook Server which breaks all links in emails. E.g. https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/ is not working and not redirecting. First and foremost, this should NOT be done in the first place.

I would like the safelinks protection turned off for my account.
Thank you.

It turns out that you can expedite it: contact Outlook.com support, explain the issue, and ask for the Outlook.com Research Team to contact the Outlook.com Engineering Team to disable the Advanced Security Feature (Safelinks) on your account. It'll take a day or two.

Microsoft advanced Protection is converting all links to eur04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com to code. It only happens when the recipient is using non html email or when they respond.
First, I have a @hotmail.com email address. This is not an Office 365 business email address.
All the links in my email are prefaced https://eur04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com. Looking this up is part of the Exchange advanced threat protection package which they talk about in Office 365 for business. I understand that this is problem that must be solved through back end ATP configuration. Again, this is happening on a personal account, not a business account.

Recently, I found that the hyperlinks in my email are changed to
https://***.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=xxxxx
After some browsing, it is a new security service called "ATP safe links", and there is no way to turn it off by myself. I don't need it (and I don't want it), so please disable this feature and change the hyperlinks in my emails back to normal ones. Thanks.

I read that sometimes people sending phishing emails, put a picture or html link in so if the email is opened it downloads a file that notifies them that the email has been opened. I notice that all links have a safelink url now. I would still prefer that the sender of the email not know that I opened the email. I think message preview should be disabled for junk email and any unrecognized sender email. I think all links should be blocked from download even if it's just a picture displayed in the email until you mark that domain or sender email as trusted.

Agree with the original comment.
The feature is a disaster and the whole thing should be scrapped. As has been widely reported and demonstrated, it makes everything unsafe and impossible to trust your computer. To impose it on users without the ability to turn it off, claiming it is some "advanced feature", is simply shocking.
If, after a year of trying, I hadn't finally got you to turn it off, I would have cancelled my subscription and gone to the huge hassle of changing my primary email, specifically because safelinks make Outlook unusable for anyone with the slightest technical proficiency.

3rd time attempting to submit this. Something is BROKEN with this feedback system. The issue: I clicked on a link in email and was told that Outlook thinks the website is unsafe. It's MY WEBSITE and it's safe. The domain did have an issue 18 months ago that was addressed then. WHY ARE YOU STILL BLOCKING IT? Also, when I got to the safelinks SITE IS BLOCKED page, there was a Feedback link on the page, but THE FEEDBACK URL DOES NOT WORK. Maybe we really don't want feedback -- just want to make it look like we do to appease users.
