Where is the FROM. I am sending a reply, but it is sending form my main email account. How do I change it so that it is FROM my alias?

Thanks for using Outlook.com! To change the email address you’re sending from, do the following:
1. Use the expansion button and open a dropdown of message actions (contains Save Draft, Insert Signature, …)
2. Choose “Show From”
3. Use the “From” button to change the email address you’re sending from
We look forward to your continued feedback.

I use automatic replies a lot as do the rest of my colleagues. This a a really useful function I can't find.

Likewise - I can't find automatic replies / autoresponder in the Beta version, it is in a quickly accessible, sensible place in the current version - put it back please!

Agreed. No point having a new platform with only some of the old features (I use filters quite a bit and need to access these settings).

Here's an idea, before you release a beta version of any program, have the help menu ready to walk users to the locations they want to go to, like SETTINGS/OPTIONS/SAFE SENDERS....
Poorly thought out when I have to switch back to the old version to do something and switch back when I have finished it. I am all for change and improvements, just do it right....

The controls seem to be hidden and not as easy to find. Why don't you roll this out to select general consumers first for evaluation before releasing this broadly. Every iteration of change seems to make things less intuitive and more difficult to find things. Any time settings require more than 3 menus deep to find they are poorly designed.

Automatic replies disappeared from the Settings (gear) icon, don't know where to find it now.

Is the out-of-office setting not available in the beta version? Or not as easily as before? It should be a "Quick Setting."

I came here to report the same thing. The new UI is fine, but without access to all the options I can't actually use it.

Settings in beta have been dumbed down too much. We need more control and customization.

When you're going on vacation it's typical to set an autoresponder. In the old outlook it was easy to find inside the preferences pane. In the new Interface it's not there anymore.

Where are all the settings options gone? The 'Full settings' only show a fraction of the settings currently available (e.g. Undo send, Inbox and sweep rules, Retention policies, Quick actions, etc.).
I kind of assume all of these will be added in future updates, but please make sure you don't remove existing functionality! -

Having a few regularly used links on the top bar gives a timesaving shortcut I use many times each day - losing it is not good!
It may be that the functionality is just too well hidden, of course - has anyone found it?

I could not find the option to set an out of office message and I had the impression that in the previous message I had access to many other options. Maybe they are still there, but it's difficult to find them.

where are the security settings now? Pretty bad especially if you need to change your MFA options.

Thank you. I like the new look and do appreciate all the work Support Engineers have put into the new Outlook.
