Where is the FROM. I am sending a reply, but it is sending form my main email account. How do I change it so that it is FROM my alias?
Thanks for using Outlook.com! To change the email address you’re sending from, do the following:
1. Use the expansion button and open a dropdown of message actions (contains Save Draft, Insert Signature, …)
2. Choose “Show From”
3. Use the “From” button to change the email address you’re sending from
We look forward to your continued feedback.

where are my pre-inbox filters? Everything is either going straight to my inbox or right into spam. Please fix this! Its pretty annoying waiting for email and it not going to the right places.
I have multiple linked "from" email accounts for composing emails. To switch from one to another, it requires too many clicks. First 'expand' the email, then click 'Show From', and then select. I wish the 'From' could always be visible.

Hi, I value the ability to customise Quick Actions.

I really like the look and feel of the Beta version. I'm switching back, however, because I NEED to be able to access the inbox sweep rules through the options menu. The limited options menu is a real pain, and I know, of course, that this is due to the Beta aspect of it.
Once the comprehensive options menu gets online, this new Beta version will be tops!
I have several linked accounts and need to send mail from all of them all the time. Old version allowed us to do that just by choosing an email on sender menu.
In Beta sendet emails show not the connected preffered email sender adress
Display the 'From' button.
I have a few email addresses and use them in the connected accounts. In the old version when I create a new email the 'From' option displays and I can chose which account I want the email to send from. In the BETA version I have to click the three dots for options, select 'Display From' and then do it. That's a pain on every new email.
I have multiple accounts connected on my outlook and when I try to send a new email from the new outlook beta there is no way of selecting the account the account I want to use as a sender.

Given Microsoft's lack of genuine spam prevention (ie: delivering messages even though the sender addresses don't match up), "Inbox and Sweep rules" and "Block Sender" are vital.
Astonishing that a beta would be released that has less usable features then the version it's intended to replace...
Please return my previous setting

In the old version when replying to an email sent to a connected account the "From" address defaults to the connected account address. In the beta it defaults to the outlook account address and it is necessary to change manually (and delete the connected account address if using "reply all"). Can you add a way to change this default to behave as in the current version.

Altho this is the current beta version at the moment, you simply cannot send 2 or more emails to people like u can in Gmail. U also can't change the themes of the background to your current fav photos if you'd like too - u r still stuck with the same ol boring themes that we've still got & operating on the current version of this software system.
Even tho there's room for improvement, there's still a lot of work to be done as well with this as I'm sure u guys & the technical engineers & working hard to ensure that this product is to make it better for everyone that's currently involved with this project.
There's not many options in the settings menu, as there is now in the current version (so could there be more here to choose from) and a calendar integration with the email service would be extremely helpful in setting up meetings/collaborating with work or other team members, as well as coffee or lunch dates with friends/family.
Keep the tasks going which is extremely helpful when you've got a lot of things to do and to be reminded of handing in assignments from studies.
Keep on with the OneDrive as it helps to load in just one simple page instead of multiple pages like u do now when u click on that.
Please keep the current features going of inserting tables, indenting, numbers, bullets etc as that's really handy when u are sending things to ppl as such.
Please keep that going as well!
can't find more settings options in new outlook.
I have a problem understanding the logic of releasing a beta that has features that are a shell of what they once were. It's simple.. Fix it or drop the features. And if that is the case watch users flock to other options in the market place.
Complete sweep and move features- sweep to selected folders after x days, move to selected folders. Automatically pin items. etc....
1. Able to turn off Conversation View
2. Able to List Messages and Preview Panels Top and Bottom
3. Preview attachments (can't see to open right now)

Organizing my emails was easy in alpha because I was able to select a message and create a rule to move all messages including all new messages from that email address to another folder. I can easily categorize the messages I get from the companies who like to send a message every day, but I can't unsubscribe because there are some messages I do want to look at or coupons I do want to take advantage of. And I don't want all these messages cluttered all together in my inbox, they can just automatically go to the folder I want them to. In beta, I was unable to find where I could do that easily. I found the "sweep" button, but that only has the option to delete, not move to another folder and include all messages. I also like the part in alpha where there were different options for the address of the sender. Like my AMEX messages I always want the last message to remain in my inbox because that's something I keep an eye on. I can create that rule with alpha. I didn't find where to do it in beta. Thank you.
I cannot find how to access my automatic reply in beta! This is a must-have for my business, and I need to be able to quickly and easily change the reply message.

way too much junk mail and I can't access outlook on my iPad on iPhone anymore. I don't the conversation thread and I can't to my junk mail filters under options.
Bring back sweep rules in options for mail handling.

No mail options are avilable. No option to manage accounts.
How can you guys forget to implement the option to manage settings like that?
