Attachments cannot be downloded in Beta version.
I was not able to download attachments from my mails. So I switched to the older version and I was able to do so in a sec. I tried downloading to the computer and saving to the oneDrive etc. From the mail itself, the drop down to download, preview etc was not also working.
Hi, I am unable to download the attachments since two days. Regards Umesh_nayak@hotmail.com

I can no longer print pdf. attachments without downloading them on my hard drive!!! Previously, I had the ability to print a pdf. file when viewing. I have updated adobe and requested pc support without being able to resolve the problem. I checked a gmail account and you still have the option to print form it without downloading the file. I'm concerned due to potential viruses etc. that could be imbeded in invoices etc. that I don't want on my hard drive!! I have had a hotmail account for many many years, however this may resuld in me making a change!

Please reinstate the option to Download attachments directly to my computer from within an email message!!
DO NOT FORCE ME to "save" email attachments to Onedrive BEFORE I can see them. DO NOT FORCE ME to "preview" them BEFORE I a Download button appears to let me save them to my hard drive. This tiny change wastes me time and FORCES ME to put my email attachments on display for the world to see, which erodes my privacy.
(Why is functionality so often taken away for no legitimate user-centric reason and called an "upgrade???")
PLEASE RESTORE THE "DOWNLOAD" OPTION ON THE DROP DOWN MENU for email attachments A.S.A.P.

We are using firefox latest version. Now, we are not able to view download option
As of today (Dec 23 2019) when you click on 'more actions' for a pdf attachment you can only preview or save to onedrive. There is no option to download the attachment like there used to be.
Please bring back the option to download PDF attachments!
Why would you get rid of the button to download attachments without opening a preview first? This is one of the main functions of email. Restore it.

In the past, there was the option to "Download" an attachment. Could you enable that now? Could you always think of giving more options to users and be a domacratic app?

When I get an e-mail with an attached PDF file ( legitimate PDFs that I expect), then I have two options:
1) Open, read, and then save at a location of my choosing, or
2) Download. In prior versions of Outlook, com, I had a choice of "at which location to save that file. In the new version, not only did that choice disappear, but the Files do not appear in the usual C:\Users\Name\Downloads folder. They disappear into some unknown folder (many-subfolders down) which Windows 10's search function never even looks at. Indeed, both this "Download" location choice problem, and the "unknown folder" problem are bugs that should get fixed.
I searched high and low for these PDFs, and they can't be located with any search function that Windows 10 offers. I think that this is unreasonable, and that MSFT should at least make an alternative workable search program available.
Why MSFT so often chooses to make once simple useful function into dumbed down "mere shadows of their former selves with super-limited functions" is beyond me. What does MSFT have to gain from acting this way?

I can not open or see attachments
Still unable to download email attachments. Nothing happens when the Download option is clicked. Fortunately can still download on the older version.
