Thank you for your feedback! The deployment for editing reminders on your birthday events is now complete. If you refresh, you should be able to see the experience. I have turned the birthday calendar off and disabled notifications from calendar and started flaging the birthday emails as junk and I STILL, EVERYDAY get like 3 to 5 email birthday notifications of people I sometimes I don't even know. Put a freaking end to this.
I fricking hate this! Get constant reminders for birthdays I couldn't give a 💩 about. So annoying and they can't be bothered to fix this... Urgh!

This problem is still not fix as of today and the link above is not related to the subject. Why the completed tag ??
Address this problem!
There must be some legal implication or at least some privacy statement violation in this issue in this.
You are sharing private data - birth data - with ... anyone? ... or are there some system behind the sharing? - I wonder!
Anyhow I would most certainly like to know who you share my birth information with.
And it makes me wonder - What else do you share, and with whom?

how can this be that hard to fix
This admin response marking this problem as "COMPLETED" and this is why people turn away from Outlook, once the best email and calendaring client. The admin guy probably doesn't even know what s/he's talking about. If you follow the provided link, which I did, you will see the only way to stop the birthday reminders is to remove the reminders one by one.
Can I remove all birthday mail reminders in calendar settings?
Or should remove every event manually?
Birthday Reminders. I don't want to receive these anymore. How can I cancel it?

How do I turn off birthday notifications? I get notifications every single day for Birthdays it fills up my inbox and I don't need them
I see these same instructions everywhere, and yet the do not address the problem. Myself and coworkers would like to remove this Birthday calendar, yet, in OWA, it's already set to disabled, but they still appear! Useless and annoying. Then, if you accidentally click on it, it halts Outlook for a considerable amount of time.

In the great old times of Windows phone I connected all my contacts under the umbrella of windows cloud. I also choosed the option of getting birthday reminders.
It was always a little bit annoying but I never really bother to stop it, till recently. But oh let's see the never ending wisdom of MS, it is not possible to do it.
It is unclear how to delete or disable the birthday calendar and its associated notifications in the new Beta mode.
Having to disable the Beta mode to accomplish that simple task is extremely frustrating.
totally useless! in the technologically advanced world we live in.... and we cant get the option to turn off notifications of birthdays.... what the actual ****

There's a bug, that is not so ok! At the settings on the calender we can't turn off the notifications about our friends birthday.
