In search results get rid of "top results" section
When I search I want only one list of results so I can follow conversation with one person quickly. Top results is useless as I don't know what is missing there. I want all messages, excluding deleted folder, sorted by date with the most recent on top.

In Outlook Live, click the Settings gear icon that is next to the email search pane.
In the Settings Search Outlook Settings bar, type the word "SEARCH". Find the Search setting in the results and click it
Unclick "Show Top Results". That will force-click the setting "Don't Show Top Results"

Get rid of the Top Results section in the message search Results list. No way that MS can determine what is top for me. Hugely distracting, confusing, and a waste of screen space.

When I do a search, I get "Top Results" and "All Results." Two categories with the some of the same results duplicated.
I do not ever want the results of a search duplicated. No one needs "Top Results" and "All Results." It just uses up screen space and makes it confusing for someone just looking for Results.
The headers "Top Results" and "All Results" use up space that can be filled with two more results.

They are never the email I'm looking for and only confuse the chronological layout of the inbox/search results. Remove entirely.

For random entries, OWA search only returns 25 results. Most entries in search work. There is no obvious pattern.

The "Top results" feature in web mail search results is useless and distracting. Please get rid of it or give an option for users to not display it.

I hate this "top results" section as well, as it is confusing and leads me to thinking I may have 2 emails on a particular subject/thread rather than just the one that is shown 2 times. PLEASE remove this feature immediately. At very least, you should give us the OPTION to turn it on or off at our discretion.

Top Results is very distracting and is useless to begin with. There is no algorithm that could possibly predict what I need when I search my email.

I do not like the "Top results" feature and would like to have the option to disable it.

No need to search for “top results”. Splits screen space and its meaningless function, delete it immediately.

Please give the option to remove "Top Results." I raised a support ticket to find out how to do it, they advised it is not currently possible and that I should make a feature request here.

get rid of Top Results, or make it optional. This is annoying, I need to see the results in sequence.

Please remove the 'top results' feature when searching for emails. Very annoying having the same emails flagged up twice! Grrrrrrrr!

"Top search results" is unnecessary. It does not make sense just to own the screen at all. I want you to be able to delete it.

add setting to let users switch off "Top Results" in search - the results are very misleading and sometime I waste time got caught by looking at the wrong emails.
