skype
Please DO NOT include Skype as a mandatory feature. I understand it may help some people to have Skype load upon logging into their Outlook account, but for others, it's disturbing.
Please provide a way to completely disable Skype's connectivity to Outlook.

I've never used skype, will never use skype and I'll probably delete my new outlook account because it's integrated into my email and I CANNOT REMOVE OR TURN IT OFF! So, please have an opt-in or opt-out for your users. Thank you!

Allow users to disable Skype, linkedin and others networks contacts in the people list. Especially skype often creates multiple contacts which already exist and consequently mess up the contacts list. Please remove skype from contacts

I love Skype. I tolerate Outlook as an email service. DO NOT FORCE ME TO USE SKYPE THROUGH OUTLOOK. This is a massive privacy issue. There are people who may legitimately contact me through email, who have no business calling or IM-ing through Skype. Yes, I changed the privacy settings so that only Skype contacts may call or message me, but this is a half-measure at best. If I want Skype integration with my email, give me that option. Do not make me use it in conjunction with my email. Please allow me to log out of Skype in this format, or to turn it off. Otherwise, I will shut down this email account and consider disengaging from Skype.

I think it should be an on/off function to setup Skype.

I think that keeping it as an option for those of us that DO use skype is good. A lot of people are on board with an opt-in function where the user has the option to enable to disable skype - this is much better than completely wiping it for those of us that use it.

Please enable a function, that allows users to disable integration of skype contacts into my contact list. I would like to keep my skype contacs separate and out of outlook. It is also very annoying, that outlook and skype contacts are often not matching and hence creating two contacts for the same person. Hence, please allow switching off skype contacts and skype in general.

I don't like to download Skpe as a program on my computers I use so logging in to Hotmail is preferred. If you could please bring back the Skype navigation in the new format! For those of you that don't want it then just don't use the feature.

I don't want to see skype! This is ridiculous... each time I sign-in to my outlook, skype is automatically on. In addition, my status is also automatically on. It becomes a real pain maybe I should switch to Yahoo or something else.

Current version is much more "slim". I do prefer to see more information at screen. The new (Beta) version took much space with irrelevant details.
Also, I hate skype integration. Let it out: if I need skype, I'll open desktop version. -

though it may be annoying, we could ask for an option to disable or enable it at will, and if possible, even use a different account for it. I think that would be a better idea

I agree with making Skype Messenger optional--I found it annoying but users should be given the option nonetheless.

I do not want the Skype account. I have already send e-mail asking to turn it off. Is it that difficult to understand? I think I will give up on Hotmail
