skype
Please DO NOT include Skype as a mandatory feature. I understand it may help some people to have Skype load upon logging into their Outlook account, but for others, it's disturbing.
Please provide a way to completely disable Skype's connectivity to Outlook.

Links are not active when I open my email messages. It makes it difficult for a elderly person to use your software. Skype is very difficult to use.

Hotmail was quick to load. Outlook takes forever! Allow users to decide whether we want skype and calendar etc etc so we can choose what we want to load. Outlook was always used in companies and maybe these connections were useful. For a private email address, I do not need or want to have all of these bulky interlinked options that aren't even an option. For anybody living in a country with slow internet, outlook is basically useless and we are all opening gmail accounts because there is an option to choose a streamlined version for slow connections.

Skype annoy me
I don't use skype anymore its system sucks and too much people get hacked which result in spam message. I really d'like to disable it form outlook.live.com but it's not possible. I use hotmail for historic reason because I found that GMail is way better. Please provide a way to disable that boring Skype service that shows, every time I connect, these boring spam notification form "friends" that got hacked, this is really terrible. -

I will never use outlook.com because I am forced to have a skype account linked with my microsoft account. I hate and deeply distrust skype.

Skype integration should be optional. At least give us the option to stay offline on Outlook.com.

I don't even like gmail but this has been going on for years and I think its time to change. I actively recommend people to NOT use outlook and will continue to do so until this is fixed.
I signed up for a mail client 10+ years ago and was a very happy customer until all the bells and whistles started being added. Over-design much?

If I want to access my mail, I don't want to be forced to access skype chat.
It's very simple, so simple I'm surprised someone thought it was needed. Please allow me to disable skype entirely from outlook. -

I want to be able to delete skype from my microsoft account. I do not want any skype information active and linked with my microsoft account. Because microsoft forces me to use skype, I am always recommending friends and colleagues to avoid microsoft office, and I'm always demonstrating how google docs and gmail can do everything they do on microsoft products, but better. The only reason why I'm doing this is because I hate skype.

Remove Skype binding from outlook.com. If you want Skype in outlook.com, you can add this. And others who do not like Skype (like me) can remove it and use outlook.com for what it really is: a mail client! Or at least completely invisible in Skype and no notifications in the menu bar.

An option to disable Skype on Outlook.com. I don't want to be automatically signed-in to Skype or deal with Skype while on Outlook.com.

Totally agree! Need a solution to disable Skype in Outlook! Have it optional! If I am not logged into Skype for good reasons, Imy contacts from Skype are still able to reach me when my Outlook is open. This is absolutely annoying and crossing the line of privacy! Why is Outlook or Skype making decision on my behalf???!!! Fix the issue or else we can use other applications to e-mail/video chat and forget about Outlook and Skype.
