password issues
i havent been able to sign into my account properly in the last week, because i kept changing my password for outlook and onedrive. i opened a one drive account and since then ive been constantly changing passwords, i changed it like 7 times only. once, twice, i get it but 6 times, i'm starting to think that i am not the problem here

My password for my email doesn't work on my iPhone. Could this be because I sign in on my desk top with a pin number on a local account

Over the last month or two, on a few occasions, my account alex_was locked up because of password violations, even if I would enter an incorrect password only one time. After how many incorrect passwords you lock up an account?
This would seem to suggest that somebody else is trying to logon to my account, correct? -

I find it frustrating that I have to have another account in order to change my password. Shouldnt have to go through hoops just to do this!!!!!! fix it pls where it can be done with ONE account

I entered the correct password. It just wasn't accepted? Basically being forced to change my passwords on all my Outlook accounts.

My biggest problem with this is the fact that i can't change my password back to something i'm familiar with. I have to remember passwords for at least 10 IMPORTANT sites (banks, retirement funds, e-mail accounts, utilities, etc . . . ) and I can't possibly remember which passwords I have or haven't used for live mail. Since the update forced me to change my password, I have forgotten every password since; and what's worse is that I'm now being forced to create NEW passwords for outlook which I have not memorized. So now i am just going to create a password document with my outlook mail password being the only entry; because I can remember all my other ones. Thanks for the increased security . . . . now you just forced me to make my account even less secure.

I agree with another comment below. I'm out of password combinations and this "can't use a previous password" is ridiculous. I've been with hotmail for decades, and have a gmail account that I never use. I'm ready to move everything over to gmail. You've taken a good thing and run it into the ground.

Informed that my password is not correct (IT IS) then when I choose that password again as my 'new' one after a reset, I'm told that I've used it before! Super annoying and not the first time, what's going on??!!!

the mail is locked if you don't remember the password and it is very difficult to find a way to get into again. You have to find an easy way for the ordinary people to get into emails. We are not hackers.

I have a gmail acct and I am ready to go there and stay there if they can't fix this problem. I am running out of password combinations that I can remember.

Me too. The password keeps saying it is incorrect no matter how carefully I type it in. In addition, I can't reuse any of the passwords which are familiar to me. So I am changing the password daily to try to keep up. You want my e-mail addy but good luck sending me anything or my getting it.
