On the previous version of Outlook.com, when someone would email me a .ics attachment, I was given the option to add the event directly to my calendar. This seems to be missing from the beta and I can only download the ics as an attachment.
Thank you for your feedback! The deployment for adding an .ics directly to your calendar from email in the Outlook.com beta is now complete. If you refresh, you should be able to see the experience.

Where is the feature to upload .ics-files?
Hi Outlook Calendar Team, why are you misleading us? Nothing has changed since your message. We still need to switch to the non-beta version to upload an ICS file.
Either you are lying, either the deployment is not complete as you suggest.
Anyway, more information would be appreciated here.

Dear Outlook Calendar Team, I am looking for this feature. You say it is implemented. Can you provide instruction on how to use it? I don't find it!

I want to be able to import events from a file (ICS file is fine) into an existing calendar.

Calendar version Beta : missing the option to import events from .ics file
When I receive an ICS attachment, why can't I save it to calendar. That option was available in the "not beta" version. Now I can only save it in onedrive.
