To some of the suggested contacts, I have sent an e-mail just once. They get mixed with my personal contacts. I have disabled the "suggest contacts" option, but I can't delete the already suggested ones.

mistype an address once, and send the mail = have it as a "suggestion" forever, no way to change it or avoid its display. Unbelievable...

The same here, i dont see these contacts on the "destinatary field" of a new mail. But they pop up in the "search" field under the url bar. And on android outlook they are highlighted as soon i start a new search. No matter i have removed them form my "people" / contact list, no matter if i have deleted everything or blocked them.
That's weird. Where those informations are stored by outlook? Why cant'we have control over this aspect of our privacy?
Really boring.

Why suggested contacts have to come back no matter how many times I clicked the "X". Not only suggested contacts are broken, they keeps popping up the wrong email/ the worse email suggestion come the top. Like the ones you send to accidentally years back/ those from unsolicited junks. This function is 1) not helpful, 2) not customizable. The outcome is the pain ********** every time you draft an email. This is an important issue and why keep ignoring this?

This problem has been brought to your attention since Aug 2017. Fix the problem or get rid of the feature.

When I start typing someone's name in To: field of a new email by mobile outlook browser , I encounter suggestion of all contacts having the same starting letter(s) / syllable(s) leftover or automatically saved by Outlook/Hotmail from old correspondence some of them being unilateral phishing fraud and spam/junk mails' senders. This feature may be useful and convenient for your known and active fellows. But, amongst those suggestions, there are also many names which are either risky, redundant , inactive or misspelled. This garbage should be removed from or corrected in the suggestion list as there is always the possibility of accidentally picking one of them and send your email to the wrong recipients. In this connection mobile outlook app should necessarily have a feature of removing and changing the contacts from suggestion list.

Please can you replace the delete option (X or slider) for address suggestions when writing new emails?

I have had several interactions with Support to try and get rid of the auto suggested names in Web/Windows 10/Phone versions of Outlook. This feature of auto suggested names is a concern from a privacy matter; if I can see names and pictures coming up, other can too and must be leading to spam.
This never happened in old versions of Outlook.
I tried all of the suggested ways to try and get rid of this auto suggestion of names with the help of Support to no avail.
Auto suggestion should only be limited to email address as part of your contacts or to people who you have received a non-spam email from. There should also be a way to delete email addresses that you do not want to pop up - easily.
thank you

Autocomplete Email Addresses not deleting. I accidentally entered the wrong email address for a recipient and it keeps suggesting this address to me. I press the X on the autocomplete in webmail but it keeps coming back and has synced to my phone. There seems to be no way to remove this incorrect address.

Microsoft believes that people who have been abused, stalked, beaten up, raped, had family murdered (and/or raped), and had lots of other unpleasant things happen to them, must be forced to look at photos of their abusers.
I'm not sure why Microsoft think its so important that this happens, but after 4 long years and countless Outlook updates, clearly they do.

I have a suggested contact constantly returns from a email address I blocked (even after prssing the X button beside it) - the person is someone who threatened me, tried to break into my home, threatened to kill my dog and more.
It's all been reported to the police and I have blocked every avenue of this person being able to contact me. However, I am constantly reminded of this person every, single time I go to compose an email because his name just keeps propping up.
Reported it to the support and their response was: I do apologies that this feature is not available for now, some customers filled up the survey link that we have and requested to have these additional features.
I can't believe that I don't even have the correct controls available to circumnavigate my own email account anymore.

I have junk email addresses as suggested contacts and I each time I click on the X to delete them, they'll come back at the next email!. It's really bothering me! If this continues, I'll have pages of suggested contacts before I can find the ones that I need!

Why does Hotmail/Outlook.com force people to save contacts from EVERYBODY they ever receive email from, including obvious spam and phishing emails that I've never opened and deleted, then showing those as "suggested contacts" every time I start to enter an email address to compose an email? I obviously do NOT need to send email to spammers and scammers and Outlook.com should not be saving EVERY contact from every email I receive and don't even open and make it easy for me to accidentally put that in as an email address! I can delete them individually, but they always come back the next time I sign in to my account. This is annoying and totally unnecessary, but it seems people have been complaining about this for a few years now and no one is bothering to do anything about it. I suggest that Microsoft stop being idiots and give people the option to either disable this altogether or stop adding spam and scams as "suggested contacts" in the first place. It can't be that hard to implement, being that there used to be a time that it was not like this in the first place.
