I would like the ability to select & delete multiple emails without reading them
Provide a check box for each email, as before.

December 2017: A checkbox has always been available in the message list for you to select multiple items with. Moving your mouse cursor over the colored circles that have sender pictures (on the left side in the message list), you will find an unfilled checkbox for you to check. You can perform multi-select actions this way, before deleting.

I don't enjoy outlook because of this issue--not being able to delete the whole inbox with one command or several checked emails.

The return of check boxes beside messages should help a lot to improve the accessibility, specially for screen reader users, by giving them the ability to select the desired messages easily, and deleting them with a single click, however, the current version doesn't allows this option as well, what didn't happen with old "Hotmail.com".

Just fed-up! It was once very simple and easy to DELETE and MOVE message (s), whether you want to read them on not. Now it's a TEDIOUS CHORE. If your goal (s) are to improve efficiency, remember to K.I.S !!!! ( KEEP IT SIMPLE).

Selecting multiple emails with "shift" "arrow down" works fine. But when I have selected one too many I want to select one fewer at a time using the up arrow. Now I start from the top and select everything from the first email and up instead. Not how I want it to work!

I dislike automatic opening of an e-mail just because it is the next in line after I deleted something.

The small circle to select the e-mail to be deleted really is a pain. Even in the old version it was easy to miss and open the mail instead. Now this has even gotten more difficult. Mobile first is OK, but also think of your desktop users.

Allow box in front of email so I can check and then delete multiple emails at once. Very time consuming to do 1 at a time especially when spam or junk is received

On the message list, it's mandatory to be able to select multiple messages in order to move them or to delete them in the same time

Need to put the check box back in and also make it so you can select several different emails and one time easily. Also need to be able to hold down shift key also to select a block of emails. I mark mass market emails into different categories and then delete many at a time once they are over 6 months old.

I dislike the small buttons to select multiple emails. It is really easy to not hit the little circle just right and instead of selecting the email it opens it. When I'm trying to sort through and select emails to move or delete it gets annoying when I misclick and have to start all over.

Tried clicking on the "select all" checkbox at the top of the email list. Correctly selected everything. Tried to click on the check box for individual emails from that list to de-select them. The checkboxes changed color/appearance, but I have no idea whether that meant the one in bright color that I clicked was selected (to be deleted, eventually), and everything else in soft/disabled colors were de-selected, or what. Very UN-intuitive. Either check them, or un-check them, but this soft-color/disabled look is ambiguous.

Used to be I could check the box for inbox to delete multiple new emails and it would just select the ones in view. In the beta, it selected ALL emails in my inbox so that you would have to scroll down and uncheck the ones you didn't want deleted. Very inconvenient - had to just delete one by one instead.

Also the box for "check all" that at least highlighted 25 at a time

Bring back check mark boxes, so I can select several emails to delete at once.
