Imagine you have 50 emails and you have 5 mails of interest.
so i want to delete remaining 45 emails.
in the beta, i need to click 45 times on each email delete them.
which sucks.

Hotmail is going down i function if dispose of good functions. Bring back mass delete or some people will be changing their E-mails.

Hello, hotmail is now unusable. I can't rely upon search results to be complete, and have to try and remember the month and year of an e-mail I want to recall. EXCEPT: the filter calendar won't always let me select the date rang I want. I also cannot scroll without the either latest or earliest emails popping back up, so I cannot get to mist of my emails. I also relied heavily on the ability to select a limited amount of emails and mass delete them, as hotmail is used for online shopping email only. What the heck did you do?

Under the newest format change there is now way to select multiple messages to delete. This is a major step backwards in interface.

Evaluation of INBOX deleting entries: It allows single deletes (+) and replaced delete 15 at a time with delete ALL. That is not user friendly as I may wish to keep 100-200 items out of the 2,000 and having to go through and un-dot them is unfriendly. Maybe have a option to select the # to be deleted at once.

The new set up changed delete messages to not be as fast. I just want to select my current page of messages and delete. Now I have to go in one by one. This is NOT easy.

Exactly, and when I do mass delete, it isn't to delete every email in the folder. So, with this, I would have to deselct way too many to use it.

I agree with many of the comments for Mass Deletion of emails. Your current configuration is time consuming and annoying at best. I suggest you "reverse engineer" the google mail as it is cleaner and far more user friendly, then your beta system. Frankly even better then your old system. I will say that your Sweep concept is helpful and once perfected would be a nice feature to help control the inbound scam.

I like the old method. I used to be able to select every email in a folder, then unselect each individual email I wanted to keep before deleting the rest. Currently I have a vast amount of emails in my inbox because it is too cumbersome to go through them and decide which ones I want to keep.
I used to love this email back when it was hotmail. Now I am searching for a new email service provider that I can replace this one with. -

Or imagine if you receive many emails which you delete daily. Then on the weekend I spend some more time with the emails I have saved that I want to read and follow up on. That's also when I go through my Deleted folder. I have a couple of problems with this. 1) I have to delete "per page" which means I have to "check all" many times. 2) Old previously emails have returned and add mote pages that I have to go through and "check all to delete". I want a nuclear option. Delete all. At once. In the whole Deleted Items folder. And please figure out that bug why previously deleted emails show up again. I have never even used the function "recover deleted emails". I know when I want something permanently deleted. Yes I may fetch an email that I accidentally put into the deleted folder and then I take it out. But once I delete from the Deleted Items folder, that's it. I'm done. I don't want to see it again. It's a bug. Squash it. And please a nuclear option to eradicate large numbers of deleted items at once.

In addition...if my click strays outside of the tiny little check circle when selecting the 45 emails, I get the happy deselection of everything I've just selected...................................................................................................................................................................

In the past version, you could 'select all' and then unselect a few emails if you wanted before doing a mass delete. For example-If I get 30 emails overnight and 28 of them are junk, I'd rather not have to click 28 emails to delete, just click select all and then unselect the 2 I'd like to keep. I'm not seeing that option working right now. I'd also get rid of lumping conversations. Thanks!

Not a fan of the new look. Too hard to mass delete. I don't have time to click on each message and delete. I also hated the fact that I couldn't see all my messages in a quick easy glance. I had to scroll through it.
