Sadly, this is a problem for me. I am look for a method to sync my contacts between my work exchange, iphone, and personal laptop running outlook. Outlook.com looked promising until I hit this limit of not being able to delete more than 50 contacts.
Ergo, I must say goodbye to Outlook.com and find a different solution

On Outlook.com, I was recently trying to organize my contacts in the People section of my account. At one point I needed to delete over a thousand contacts, but this was a big hassle to do because Outlook does not allow for deleting more than 50 at a time. If I select more than 50 contacts, it says "You've selected more than 50 contacts", and it greys out the Delete button. I find this to be a a very annoying restriction. Can you please remove this restriction? Or, instead of making it a restriction, just make it a warning, and allow the user to delete more than 50 contacts after acknowledging the warning?

crapped out in middle of uploading. Had to upload again. Wound up with many duplicates. Only allows deleting 50 contacts at a time. This is ridiculous. Will take me 10 years to delete the duplicates.

If you gonna change process for delete trash can, please improve it, before I could delete trash information page by page or completely if a I wanted. now I have to mark one by one or completed!!!!!!! My advise is let it the same or give options like delete by sender or by months or by days, something better.
I read always my trash can before deleted, but know is impossible to finish it.
Making questions before changing, like surveys, we are users, we decide if it is good for us or not.
we can participate improvement the software. -

Yes, please. I want delete only what I want. But only have two option dellet all or one by one.... Come on, people. For example I'd like to select all the mail from one contact, des-select what I want to keep and select all from another contact and doit the same and after just press delete, but its impossible.

Previously you could select multiple e-mails to delete that were only visible on the screen. Now you can only select everything at once but you can't see everything at once. It would be able to have the option to delete the e-mails that are visible on the screen.
I prefer having the option to see e-mails without too much information as the current version does.

YES! I get a lot of junk--and sometimes, it's just stuff I've subscribed to so I can check the subject and see if it's important TODAY. Otherwise, I delete it. If I can't select multiple emails so I can delete them, the new version is mostly useless. PLEASE bring that option back!
