Do not show deleted unread junk emails as unread in deleted folder.
When performing 'delete all' for the Junk folder (obviously unread) the deleted items folder then shows a number in bold indicating unread emails deleted. When I get rid of email from my junk folder it should not do this.

I concur. It also poses a security threat because when you are compelled to click that unread spam, it opens the image links like it's a normal e-mail. This notifies the spammer that you've seen their spam.

Please, please don't show a number n bold opposite the Deleted Folder. If I have deleted something , Junk mail or not, then I DO NOT want to read it. Why make me right-click and choose "Mark All as Read"?

Bug! Email marked as Spam and Phishing moved to deleted elements and marked UNREAD

When new mail arrives in the Junk Mail folder, I right click the foler & select Delete All. As soon as I do, the Deleted Items folder shows that a new item has been added which is not true...it is actually deleted and not moved to the Deleted Items folder.

Why do items on my block list or reported as phishing scams still end up in my junk e-mail folder? Why not just delete them immediately?

after i empty the junk email folder, it should be automatically marked as read and remove totally from my account. but the deleted item folder will show unread message which same number as the deleted junk mail. please check on this

There is no point in showing number of unread mails beside Deleted Items folder like the way Gmail does.

YES, it should still show as Unread.

Still -- if deleted email and/or junk mail adds up, where do I go and delete it for ever?

when I receive emails that go to the Junk Email folder and then I delete them without reading, the Deleted Items folders always shows the number of deleted junk emails. that is a bit annoying because later, I may not remember that that is just junk and I may think that I have deleted some not junk email by mistake.

"permanently deleting" junk items puts them in deleted as unread.

I agree with this but would like to go one step further. I previously used my email through msn.com (opened using the MSN butterfly). Now that I can no longer open the MSN butterfly, I have to use Outlook. I used to be able to delete any junk mail and they totally disappeared. Now, of course, when I delete any junk email it goes to the deleted folder. I hate having the junk email hang around so delete it from the deleted folder. Why does the deleted junk email have to be put in the deleted folder? Why can't it just totally be gone when I click on delete?

Agree. It's a bit annoying that it shows the number once they are deleted.

Also, phishing emails in the junk folder move to deleted. If I want to block the phishing emails address I have to move it back to Junk and then block. Phishing junk emails are still junk and I don't understand why these emails are a sub-category of "Not Junk".

Agreed. 'Delete All' from Junk folder now leaves items as unread in the Deleted Items folder. The old version did not do this - 'delete all' would mark deleted Junk items as read.
