Reply using correct "from" address when hitting reply, reply all, forward etc.
In the beta, when you reply to a message, it sends the message reply back to the recipient using the primary alias as the "from" address. The non-beta version 'remembers' which address the person sent the message to, and sets that as the "from" address in the reply. This behaviour is essential for ease of email management when multiple "from" addresses are available. Also, it should be a lot easier to always see whop you're sending an email "from" when you're replying/forwarding etc.
I can see that there is a setting for "always show from" in the beta settings but it doesn't work when replying or forwarding.
This is super bad. I use an alias to protect my real email address from spammers...only trusted people have my real one.
Can't use the beta until this is fixed...security leak!
Not using the beta anymore because of this problem - and it caused a problem for me with the set of alias address I use for business. Please fix asap, thanks!!
Agree. It defaults to a different email address to the one the email was received at, it's really difficult to work out which email address my reply is being sent from, and there seems to be no way to correct it so that I'm replying from the email address that received the message.

Same issue here and no option to correct it by manually selecting the email address to reply from. Also took me a while to find the reply button, preferred the way it was.

When you read an email how the heck do you forward it?
The menu at the top with the reply, forward, sweep, etc.. needs to be restored as well.

Beta is non-function on this workstation.
reply from email address is not defaulting to correct alias. It is defaulting to the main email address. it should default to the same email address as the original message was sent to.
